We wanted to create a product video that helps prospects understand what our solution is in short time. Since it was a new type of product in the market, it had been difficult to communicate the solution in few words. The goal was to drive product signup and sales.

We looked at few video production companies that has worked for software companies and selected Vidico based on its previous work and cost.

We started with a discovery meeting and then worked on completing the project document that covered the creative approach, production schedule, brand asset and product outline. We then worked on the script, storyboard, style frame, illustration and finally the animation. In each steps, Vidico presented their proposal followed by our feedback and sign-off.

We worked with project managers and used collaboration tools like Dropbox Paper, Boords, Frame.io for the feedback process.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are planning to use this video for our website, social media and trade show. The early feedback has been great.

The project managers were easy to work with and very responsive. We communicated over Slack and had few video calls.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were impressed by the high standard of their creative work. We did provide some feedback to better reflect our messaging, but their response always exceeded our expectation. We were also impressed by how easy it was to provide feedback at each stage.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There might be some lessons we'll learn as we launch the video, but we think the Vidico did an outstanding job.

Our decision to choose Vidico began on the initial discovery call. Their team asked great questions and brought a lot of creative ideas to the table in a consultative way. Once we got started in the discovery process with them, it was a no brainer to move forward.

Discovery call, client completes briefing document including brand and marketing assets and messaging, scriptwriting, storyboarding, production. Several rounds of feedback between each session. Communicated on slack which was really easy.

Abigail, Ashton, and Hattie. The team kept us on track and provided consistent updates on slack. The team gathered and documented a lot of information about our company at the beginning which was great because I never felt like our team was a bottleneck in the process. They were able to listen to what we were looking for and deliver at a really high quality. Genuinely really easy and pleasant working with this group!

We are announcing a major strategic partnership/investment today and Vidico was able to make sure we received the final cut of the video to include in the press announcement and on social media.

Notion and slack were the main forms of communication, we also met on google meet a few times at the beginning in the discovery phase. The team did a great job keeping us on track and they always delivered when they said they would.

I'm the content marketing and communications manager at Eseye. We have recently rebranded and launched our IoT Platform called Infinity which allows businesses to manage the connectivity for their entire IoT estate through a single view and platform.

We wanted to create a video which clearly explained the challenge of the global connectivity market and illustrate how difficult it is to manage multiple platforms, contracts and relationships. We also wanted to explain Infinity's product features and the key benefits for customers.

This video was designed to support the launch of the platform in May. It is used across our website and on our social media channels to build brand awareness and drive sales.

I looked everywhere online for a video production agency. I wanted to work with a company who produced smart, polished animation videos at a competitive price point. We are based in the UK so I looked further afield to Vidico after discovering them on YouTube.

Vidico took the time to really understand what our objectives were for the video. As our industry is quite complex we decided to look after the scriptwriting and asked for Vidico's opinion. We then moved into storyboard presentation which was a really collaborative stage.

I really loved the frame illustration stage where three frames were illustrated for us before proceeding to illustrate all the frames. This made a lot of sense and ensured we were completely happy with the look and feel, and our brand application.

Voiceovers were made super easy with so many artists to choose from - this was an absolute breeze and our VO artist nailed it. Vidico then went away and animated the video and brought the illustration drawings we'd seen to life!

They offered two soundtracks - both of which were very good. It was a pleasure working on this project with Nathan and Ashton, and I'm really proud of the finished result.

It was a pleasure working on this project with Creative Project Manager Ashton and Animation Producer, Nathan. Both were super professional, exceptionally organised and always very aware of the time difference - keeping our project on track.

Our feedback was always taken on board, and they took the time to make sure they'd understood the intricacies - Nathan even recorded videos for us running through the feedback and discussing next steps. Boords is a great tool - it made the feedback really easy.

We simply added comments and they were actioned. Likewise once it was animated we could have provided feedback to the exact timestamp.

We launched the video yesterday so can't report on this just yet!

Nathan and Ashton were incredibly responsive and provided regular updates. We mainly communicated over email which worked well for us.

The project management was just superb. They nailed their process and everything works seamlessly step by step. I felt supported the whole time through and in totally safe hands, knowing we were going to produce a fantastic and visually appeasing animation that fit our product brand guidelines.

Vidico worked on an Animation Explainer video. The work has been organized in 3 phases: - creation of the script based on a brief - creation of the Illustrations - Animation.

I worked with the Associate Video Strategist and the Creative Project Manager. The process was very smooth, very transparent and it has been managed with the right tools at each stage. After the initial sharing with us, there would rounds of feedbacks in order to fine-tune the work and achieve what we had in mind.

The video is being successfully delivered on all major social media and video advertising platforms. The video is having a very positive reception and it has generated over 500,000 views si far.

The project management style is very informal, collaborative and helpful. The communication and sharing tools used by Vidico worked well at every stage of the project and they helped streamline the overall process.

Vidico had a very structured and well-established working process, which was the key to reaching great results. On top of that, the animation team is very talented and creative and they really helped us focus on the key elements to better define our product and brand, and then they delivered a beautiful video.

I can't think of any particular area of improvement. Overall things went very well and the result was excellent.

We started with a rough idea and some example videos with what we wanted and described our goals. We then got an initial script from their writer. We worked together to iterate on it and improve the script. We then got a storybook and iterated on it to nail the story down. After we felt good about the story we had a few of the key frames styled and we gave feedback there. Then we moved into the animation stage. Vidico was receptive to feedback throughout.

We worked with a project manager and director. The feedback process was great! Vidico was very supportive and helped us make the right decisions. We had a lot of feedback on the early stages so the latter stages were silky smooth without much feedback needed.

Internally we got feedback that the video best explains what HoneyBook does so far from all of our videos. We've also seen an 8 point gain in people signing up to our waitlist when running an a/b test of this video vs one we made internally. That's a big difference!!!

Communication was great! It was hard at times because we had to deal with 3 time zones and many stakeholders but Vidico is very accustomed to that and helped us throughout.

Vidico was understanding of our feedback and strive for perfection and helped us get to where we needed! Their creativity and fresh approach was also huge for this project.

I think that expected turnarounds for 3 time zones should be longer than 2 days for feedback.

The motion animations weren't quite at the same high standard as the rest of the video so we ended up removing some of them

Our payments product is multifaceted, so we wanted to create a clear and concise video that could explain our product's features as well as the sustainability messaging. Our main goal was to utilise animations to highlight the message, but incorporate our actual product dashboard in a visual representation. This is the first of many videos we will produce to showcase the features and we intend to use the animations across our digital infrastructure as well as paid ads.

We were recommended this vendor due to the professionalism and process plus had read great reviews. We decided to proceed as at the introductory meetings we had a great synergy and felt it was a perfect fit based on our intended outcome.

The team completely knew our product from the discovery call and incorporated Dropbox Paper (plus other tech enablement tools) which reduced the need for back and forth meetings. The video is a 30s walkthrough of Linode's tenets, and why we are the best choice in the Alternative Cloud _or_ Hyperscaler set. Vidico does an excellent job of breaking steps in the process down, from sketching to storyboarding to final animation. There is never any confusion about approval, which is appreciated.

I worked with several members of the Vidico team over time, and each one was professional, thorough, and accessible.

We haven't put it in market quite yet, but so far, developers have responded very well to it. We were looking to specifically target a nerdier audience than most tend to talk to, and I feel like we've managed to do that.

They are so communicative! That is a great aspect when you're working on something so important to the expression or success of the brand. I've felt like I am involved at every step.

Timelines can be very tight for someone who is managing several projects at once — I felt like I was constantly against deadline to keep things moving, when I had to herd together several people on my end who have very disparate schedules.

I came into the project a bit later but still had the change to meet the Vidico team and kick-off the project. The initial kick-off was great. The Vidico team were very open and effective in explaining their roles, outlining the project and setting expectations from them and us. I feel everyone worked very effectively. We kept up with deadlines and Vidico did as well which made the process run smoothly.

The 2 rounds of edits were good to have as we often missed a few things in round one or something seemed off with the edit and but we still had the opportunity to fix it. Vidico was also very accomodating when we decided to change the concept last minute, which we appreciate very much. Overall the Vidico team have been amazing to work with and I am excited to work on future projects with them.

We initially started working with Keith who was great, and Bridget took over soon after. Bridget has been fantastic to work with. She was always quick to respond, clear in what she needed from us, and always open to feedback. Bridget has been a key person in the seamless running of this project. In terms of feedback - Boords and frame.io made it super easy to provide feedback. Also shout out to the animator who worked on our graphics! They are very talented and we are so happy with the outcome.

We are currently implementing the animations throughout our site which it to go live soon. Internally the teams love it.

We mostly communicated through Slack. Bridget was always quick to respond and accomodating.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Great communication. They are open to ideas and provide quality execution.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There were times where we leaned on Vidico to come up with concepts when we were stuck with suggestions. On some animations, the concepts they came up with lacked a little imagination and looked too similar to what they had already done for other ones in the set. I found I'd have to suggest a new concept in the end. Maybe push the boundaries a bit for next time. We rely on them for some of the ideation as they are the experts.
