Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the co-founder of Imaginovation, a turnkey technology company. We build custom web and mobile applications, as well as custom websites. 

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Videorize?

We offer video solutions that help leverage the user experience for our client. We partnered with Videorize to provide those video solutions, namely motion graphics and animated video.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Their involvement in the project was comprehensive and entailed all levels of production. Videorize helped develop the storyboard and come up with a strategy for the story we needed to tell. They took care of the actual implementation of the video too, as well as the editing. 

What is the team composition?

We worked with Brian (Founder & Creative Director).

How did you come to work with Videorize?

When we were looking for a strategic video partner, we vetted a few companies. Ultimately, what Videorize was offering met our needs and expectations perfectly. They had a large portfolio with dynamic, versatile experience, so we thought it would be a great fit.

What is the status of this engagement?

The engagement took place from January–March 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We don’t have a lot of data yet, because our client is still marketing the video. But in terms of satisfaction, not only is the client extremely satisfied, but we are as well. Videorize’s work exceeded expectations. It’s been very highly received.

How did Videorize perform from a project management standpoint?

Brian was very personable; he was one of the main reasons we wanted to partner with Videorize in the first place. Throughout the project, he was incredibly responsive and offered clear communication. He took a strategic approach, setting a schedule with timelines and deadlines.

Brian really understood our clients’ vision, and he took an active role in the collaboration. We worked together extremely cohesively with the videographer to bring the client’s project to life.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Videorize has a small business feel. The team is very personable, experienced, and creative. With their personalized approach, they’re able to create work that really elevates their portfolio. Also, they’re reasonably priced, which was definitely a differentiator, especially considering the quality of the work delivered. Overall, they were a great partner.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have no bad feedback. The project was borderline perfect.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be transparent, honest, and authentic with the team. Tell them your goals for the relationship, and what you plan on doing. Be willing to compromise and work together—they’ll really appreciate that.

Please describe your company and your position there.

CloudWave is a provider of on-premises and cloud IT services built for healthcare.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Videorize?

We hired Videorize to create a short animated video explaining our capabilities that would be featured on the home page of our website. We also requested that they take the content from that video to create loops to run on displays in our trade show booth.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to convey CloudWave's complex set of services and capabilities in a very easy-to-understand and interesting way.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

Videorize did an email campaign that landed in my inbox while I was searching for animated video creators. We had a call to discuss the project, and Brian understood right away what we were trying to accomplish, and presented some good ideas.

Describe the project in detail.

We had an in-depth discovery call with Videorize and CloudWave product management and marketing to discuss the scope and message. Videorize drafted a script, which we then edited/contributed to, and from the script created a storyboard. It was a very collaborative process.

What was the team composition?

Brian was our primary point of contact throughout the process and managed our project with his creative resources.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The result of the project was excellent. The video is a great way to introduce our company to prospects who may not be familiar with us, and explains at a high-level what a multi-cloud architecture can do for hospitals struggling to maximize IT resources and reduce cost.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Working with Videorize was very collaborative, and communication was excellent. Brian kept us up-to-date on progress, and worked with us to make sure we met our deadlines.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Outside vendors often have a hard time understanding our company and messaging, and I often have to invest quite a bit of time educating them.

Brian did his homework before our project kickoff by thoroughly going through our website, and then took the time to really listen to our story. He asked intelligent questions and quickly demonstrated a solid understanding of our offerings and our brand.

Brian offered creative direction and advice while soliciting our input and adapting the look/messaging/timing along the way. Brian was great to work with – very collaborative and responsive to requests. I highly recommend his services.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We've already completed a second successful project with Videorize and plan to work with them again soon.
