Please describe your company and your position there.

I run a teambuilding business in the San Francisco Bay Area called Mr Treasure Hunt. Our company creates and runs treasure hunts for corporate groups and private parties.

For what projects/services did your company hire Video Production by Brainiac?

We have recently added an Augmented Reality app to our business offerings and we needed a creative and effective video ad made to promote it.

What were your goals for this project?

To have a video ad I can use on social media to promote and market my business and our app.

Through Upwork, I was able to connect with David Donihue and he presented a clear and very creative and fun ad idea which was exactly what I was looking for,.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.

The video shows how the app works and also gets the point across that the events are fun, custom-made, and can be built anywhere.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

David Donihue laid out the steps clearly and I knew from the beginning what his role would be and he created two iterations of the video and after the second, with a small amount of edits I suggested, the final product was great.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The ad was just made this week but I have added to my website and and will now use it in social media ads

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Their workflow was very effective— it was clear from the start how the process would go, and they followed that to a T. 

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The initial presentation and creative ideas and then the actual product which is very impressive

I cannot think of any at the moment!

I'm the founder of Explainwith.video, a business that provides mostly B2B explainer video services for marketing and sales initiatives.

What challenge were you trying to address with Super Rad Video Production?

We reached out to Super Rad Video for production support on a client project that had an extremely short timeline.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Super Rad Video provided production and scripting support, collaborating with our team to create two short videos within three weeks. One video was produced for the home page of the client's website and the other will be used for outreach campaigns. During the process, they managed casting, finding a set, set design, full production, and editing services. 

What is the team composition? 

I worked with David (Director, Super Rad Video Production), who is a rockstar.

How did you come to work with Super Rad Video Production?

I believe I found them on Upwork and originally reached out for a different project. I stayed in touch with them and, as soon as this project came up, I thought they'd be a great fit for the job. 

How much have you invested with them?

We invested $25,000 for both videos.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked on the project for a few weeks in January 2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We don't have any metrics to report, but the client was absolutely ecstatic with the quality of the videos they produced under a very tight deadline. We're all very proud of the work they helped us produce. 

How did Super Rad Video Production perform from a project management standpoint?

They were very collaborative and responsive throughout the engagement. David is extremely focused and knew all the right steps to take in order to move the project along as quickly as we needed to. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

David is an all around great person to work with; he's very creative, fast, and knowledgeable in his line of work. He's definitely a character and a fun person to collaborate with.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Nothing comes to mind.

Trust the process. David is the quirky, creative type, but he's the real deal.
