Discovery and creative direction:

We started by aligning the visual identity to my actual performance context - large US stadium and festival shows. We adopted a evening-toned visual style: moodier imagery, high-contrast staging photography, and a palette suited to festival and arena lighting rather than a soft or pastel treatment. We wanted the site to feel consistent with walking into an actual show rather than a generic musician template. 

Website design and build:

Site was designed and built from the ground up, structuring it around my music and release content while keeping both industry/press and fan-facing needs in view - bio and credentials for industry contacts, and music/release content for fans. Also, the site needed to be updated without technical coding knowledge.

SEO:

Venice implemented on-page SEO across the site to give a foundation for organic search visibility, since prior to this discoverability relied almost entirely on social platforms. 

Subscriber and traffic growth:

A subscription/email capture mechanism activated into the site for a direct fan mailing list rather than depending solely on social reach, and SEO groundwork to support organic traffic growth over time.

Currently discussing 'Phase 2 which is a site redesign as it has been a few years and time to update.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Over 10000 subscribers leading to an increase in social media followers. The website delivered the main requirements and I am able to update the content when i need to without relying on a third party

They were always available and patient with my non technical requests and suggestions. There was a project schedule but I no longer have this as it was a few years ago.

They were willing to take the time to establish what I wanted and then propose solution options highlighting the pros and cons of each. Their costs were detailed and no sudden surprises. If there was a request for additional work to the original scope they provided a separate costing. They spent time delivering what i wanted, even when i was in decisive.

We needed Venice to advise and design an identity for us that was both profressional but complimented our services. Colours were an important consideration as the potential client might be viewing with their autistic child and some colours create a negative reaction.

A detailed project plan was agreed and work began.

The logo design options were reviewed by our team and Venice until a final choice was made.

The website needed to be non-technical so that updated content was uncomplicated to make. Launched successfully.

Research and submission to specialist medical directories was also a task.

Initial technical SEO was also completed.
