We asked Varseno to rewrite an application we had developed over many years. Our rewrite required attention to data security and user entry logging.  The application is used to replace paper inventory tags and cumbersome ERP-based count software.

The product is complete for Phase 1. All deliverables were met. Testing has shown the software acts as we expected. The interface is clean and easy to use.

Varseno delivered on-time. Deadlines were met and modifications were made to make the application better than we expected.

The team they put together was well-balanced. It took a few meetings to get our vision presented, but once the team knew what we wanted, they quickly put together the application and had us in demo ensuring we were getting expected results.

We learned a lot going through the Varseno process. Several upgrades were identified to incorporate into Phase 2. Our original requirements were met in Phase 1.

Their project management was excellent from start to finish. They clearly outlined the timeline and deliverables at the beginning of the project and delivered everything on time as promised. Communication was consistent and proactive — they provided regular updates, responded quickly to questions or changes, and made sure I was informed at every stage. They were also very responsive to my specific needs, offering helpful suggestions when needed but always keeping my goals and preferences as the top priority. Overall, the process was smooth, organized, and very professional.

What impressed me most about this company was their combination of technical expertise and personalized service. They didn’t just build a generic website — they took the time to really understand my business needs and tailored the site specifically for me. Their attention to detail on the back-end development was exceptional, ensuring the site was not only functional but built for long-term growth. On top of that, their communication and responsiveness made the entire process stress-free. It’s rare to find a team that is both highly skilled and genuinely invested in the success of your project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Varseno Solutions could have done differently?

Overall, I was very happy with the experience and results. If I had to suggest an area for improvement, it would be to possibly provide even more visual progress updates during the development phase — such as earlier previews or mockups — just to help visualize the work as it’s being built. However, this did not impact the final outcome, and they were always responsive whenever I asked for updates. It’s a minor suggestion for an otherwise excellent process.

The team delivered everything on time and under budget as planned. We had to change the requirements a few times while the project was going on and the team took it in a very positive way to address the needs of the client.

The team used Agile methodologies on Microsoft Azure platform to capture the requirements, keep a track of the defects and code repository.

Varseno has a team of developers and QA testers who are well-versed with the latest trends in software development and have a solid understanding of US construction industry and domain knowledge.

The project managers and business analyst make sure they have the right set of requrirements for the project so they can assign the work to the right resources

The leadership and management team has experience handling projects from the US and western countries - so, it makes a lot easier to communicate with them and ensure they understand the requirements of their clients

Are there any areas for improvement or something Varseno Solutions could have done differently?

There's always scope for improvement - it would be great if Varseno could train their resources on asking the right set of questions directly from the client instead of depending on the BA all the time.

Varseno should communicate with client when the scope changes without changing the delivery date or adding more resources. The developers and QA team take the hit and sometimes have to work long hours or over the weekend to meet the deadline.

Continous training of the junior and mid-level resources so they learn fast and take the responsibilities of senior resources when they are on vacatioon or not available during certain times of the project.
