UXSAGE was in charge of the conceptualizing and the creation of one of our partner’s websites

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to create an appealing, up-to-date, website that would at the same time be intuitive to use for the different target audiences. Another goal was to create this website fast enough & UXSAGE team coped with both these tasks.

USAGE studio conducted thorough research before preparing website mockups. I am sure that strong research skills were their competitive advantage because they have an effective research methodology that allows defining the most effective design for the given target audience very accurately. We tested the concept with the research group and were very satisfied with the results. After that, we discussed the project roadmap and UXSAGE started the development.

There were frontend, backend developers, business analyst, and a QA involved.

We used several effective task management systems so the workflow was almost immaculate.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The flexibility: the team adapted to the majority of our requirements really fast and was able to deliver the results we needed within the discussed deadline.

Ceilings Plus is a manufacturing company, which provides customized ceiling & wall solutions. I worked there as a Design Researcher, and lead for the team of designers.

For what projects/services did your company hire UXSAGE?

To start a company's website redesign as early as possible. Design and development of new features.

What were your goals for this project?

We were not pleased with the overall look and aesthetic of our existing website and wanted to replace it with the new one with a modern look and faster performance. Also, we wanted to innovate the user experience and develop a couple of new interactive features for viewing and editing 3d files in a browser.

How did you select this vendor?

We posted a job offer with a detailed task description on LinkedIn, and UXSAGE was one of the few other candidates we reviewed. We sent them a design test and their vision of the new version of the website was the best. They impressed us with their deep understanding of 3d graphics and industrial design knowledge which is quite rare among the digital product developers.

UX/ UI; New features: Image gallery with filters/ Each project has its own page. Expected +80 pages. Product gallery with the 3d configurator. Add new CMS to manage a large amount of 3d assets, develop new features for viewing 3d models of the architectural products in a browser. Deploy to a server.

What was the team composition?

Kris is a UX/UI designer. Gary is a full-stack web developer and Slava was a WEB GL specialist who worked with an external devs team.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The website redesign part was successfully completed and on time and it was great looking and functioning. However, the 3d part was the toughest one as it required new stack research as well as a massive production and optimization of 3d models for the web configurator. But nevertheless we launched the beta with limited products and it was still impressive. Users ( mostly architects and designers) liked the new version and we received a lot of positive feedback about overall performance.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We had a few design iterations and project scope reviews and it took us about three months to launch the new version. We used Trello and Google docks for project management and Illustrator, Sketch with Invision for UX design reviews. Unity engine was used for 3d prototyping.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They successfully completed a project on time and within budget while meeting (and even exceeding) expectations.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I can't recall any of those.

We needed to build a new website, the website that would be perceived well by the North American target audience.

What were your goals for this project?

To create an attractive, intuitive website for people who value logic above everything else.

We also needed a good target audience research before the launch on the project, and the UXSAGE team helped us with that. Another valuable investment is the SEO optimization UXSAGE offered to us.

How did you select this vendor?

We found UXSAGE here on Clutch and after talking to them via Zoom we decided to start from mockups. The team passed well that test and we moved to the next step.

We needed to create a fancy e-commerce store which would resonate with younger target audience.

We hired UXSAGE for this purpose as they seem to be experienced with high-quality web development and have a style.

One of our clients for who we are developing a mobile app decided to create a separate business. He needed an e-commerce store for a younger target audience on the basis of Shopify platform. We decided that outsourcing this development will be more cost-effective in this particular case. We hired UXSAGE and within a month we've got first drafts of the e-commerce store we needed.

I was a contractor UX designer in a well known digital agency in Los Angeles.

Our client was the e-commerce project for a footwear brand. The company makes premium shoes in Los Angeles.

What were your goals for this project?

To understand complex consumer behavior in the given segment, improve the user experience and functionality of the website and to maximize conversion rates.

Uxsage was a referral from my former co-worker who I trusted, so I contacted the guys.

What was the team composition?

The team consisted of 4 people who were heavily involved and worked well together. I met Garry, Taylor, Sean, and Chris. Gary is a senior developer. Taylor with Chris were in marketing and content production. Sean was a CG and graphic design.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

After they launched the new website, we had a lot of positive feedback from new and old users, and the goals such as increased conversion rate and improved interactivity and user engagement were achieved.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The team used Jira as the main PM tool and also GIT Lab as a repository. As a UX designer, I enjoyed their familiarity with the tools I used to use, such as Sketch, InVision, and Abstract (version control software).

We had multiple calls in Hangouts and Skype. The communication was always joyful and fun, but we stayed very focused on tasks and scope.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I must say they are the great team to work with. They have one of the most exciting combinations of creative and technical skills I've ever met and a perfect balance between two. They managed things very well and even under pressure, and I highly appreciate that trait.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I wish them to keep their passion and creativity and to pass it through their growth as it's essential for their success. The technical skills are excellent, and I had such a blast to see how they handle the toughest problems, and clients were overall super happy, so am i.
