The project delivered clear performance and operational improvements. API throughput increased from about 3,000 requests per second to 15,000 requests per second, while p95 latency dropped from 380 ms to 42 ms. Since launch, uptime has remained at 99.97%.

In addition, our deployment process became much faster, moving from biweekly releases to multiple deployments per day. Test coverage on the rebuilt backend reached 91%, and infrastructure cost per request declined by around 35%. These improvements gave us a more scalable and reliable platform for continued growth.

Pipeline reliability improved from about 91% to 99.6%, and the latency on some of our core dashboards dropped from roughly 8 hours to 45 minutes. Silent failures, which had been an ongoing issue, were reduced from around 12 per month to fewer than 1. We also onboarded two additional upstream sources, adding about 2.4 TB of daily throughput, and reduced Snowflake compute costs by approximately 22%.

Beyond the numbers, the team gave us something we didn’t really have before: visibility into pipeline health and much more confidence in the data we were delivering to customers.
