We started the project by migrating my website from squarespace to wordpress while changing the domain name to my new business name. I also had SEOWerkz help me with the branding of my new business name as we went from just detailing to auto customizations. They helped with creating our new logo, fonts, and colors, helped me design marketing materials like business cards, t-shirts, etc. 

After launching the website we started ongoing SEO work continuing to add new content to the site, optimzing the website and link building.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After launching the website in November, it's now March (4 months) traffic has increased to the site, my branding is cohesive for social media and print and I've been able to have a more professional look when networking. This is a fairly new business so we are starting out on the right foot and thankful to have SEOWerkz help us get started.

Project management was a little all over the place. We didn't feel like we had a main point of contact, we were always emailing different people. The branding and website design process went smooth, after we handed over everything, we lost communication for a month or so. We had to reach out to a few different people including management to find out where we were at with the project. Due dates were pushed back more and more because of delays that weren't well communicated. 

The beginning of the project went well, I was a little annoyed with the amount of time between approving one project and getting the next step going, I feel like that could have been faster or just better communicated about what was still pending or being worked on. I felt lost during the management side when SEOWerkz took over.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The design process is awesome. We knew what we wanted but they were able to make it come to life. There was a lot of back and forth between tweaking designs but the designers never took it personal and the experience was well received. The end project was great and we are obsessed with our branding and logo.

Are there any areas for improvement or something SEO Werkz could have done differently?

SEOWerkz could improve on their communication, letting the clients know where they are at with the project if its been weeks or months between the last time we gave approval. There were times they said they were waiting on us and we had no clue, because no one reached out. Since starting ongoing SEO, the communication between the account manager has been better, but during the website build, we felt very lost.

Yes - only downfall has been that our representative has changed quite frequently, but we have had our current one for a while and he is great (Colby).

My personal opinion - it's not the company, but the representative that is assigned to you. We have had representatives that did not spend the time that we needed on our marketing, nor had the "care factor". We are fully satisfied with our current representative.

Just make sure the representatives take the time to show that they care and follow through on what they say they are going to do. Again, our current representative is the best; however, before him, we had some representatives that were not great.
