Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the clinic manager at Sussex Medical Chambers, a medical center and diagnostic clinic. We provide support to NHS clinics, but we are mainly private.

What challenge were you trying to address with UpMedico?

We needed help with our Google Ads campaigns.

What was the scope of their involvement?

UpMedico works with us on our Google Ads campaigns. Initially, we started with a few campaigns related to our urology specialty. UpMedico has created landing pages for urologists, GPs, and endocrinologists, and they continue to manage our Google Ads campaigns. We currently have 6–7 campaigns active.

UpMedico creates the campaigns from scratch. I provide the doctors' biographies, their official pictures, and some of the content. UpMedico works around our 160 reviews and puts everything together.

What is the team composition?

I mainly work with the founder and CEO.

How did you come to work with UpMedico?

I worked with the company's founder at a previous company, and he did a great job there. I wanted him to be at Sussex Medical Chambers because his work was excellent and helpful.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around £30,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2024, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We started from zero, and UpMedico has helped us track all the patients coming from the website and the campaigns. The founder sends me a weekly report with the leads, and I can match them with the phone calls and emails. We’ve tried two different methods alongside UpMedico, but now, thanks to them, 99% of my patients come from Google.

How did UpMedico perform from a project management standpoint?

We discuss the budget every week. UpMedico sends a weekly report with all the numbers and metrics. The founder and I have scheduled calls every two months to catch up and brainstorm new ideas. He’s outstanding with deadlines and always comes up with the products before the deadline. We communicate via email and Google Meet.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m impressed that UpMedico isn’t keen on making money on the clients. The founder is a very honest professional who doesn’t take advantage of the fact that we’re not in the Google Ads business. He tries to keep us on a minimal budget until it works. I like the way UpMedico works with us.

Furthermore, the founder is very kind and approachable. If I have any problems or questions, I can email him, and he will provide solutions and advice. It’s a precious collaboration.

Are there any areas they could improve?

UpMedico has a wide range of services that we’re not using. I didn’t know they developed websites, and I regret not engaging them to create our website. However, they don’t need improvement. They’re excellent at what they do.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Rely on UpMedico’s advice. They're very experienced in the private healthcare sector. I recommend going to them with open arms and asking what’s best for your business.

Since hiring UpMedico, my company has been growing. After our three-month trial, I doubled my patients. At first, my internal income was £10,000 a year with no patients at all. However, once I started working with UpMedico, my income from my private practice reached £200,000.

I've received good feedback. Overall, the collaboration has been easy since the team is quite fast and does everything well.

How did UpMedico perform from a project management standpoint?

They anticipate deadlines and always meet the budget. UpMedico works autonomously and constantly updates me on the project’s status. They’re a reliable team.

Moreover, UpMedico sends very detailed reports via email each month. They also constantly collaborate with my PA to understand the rate of conversion. I only contact them when I have something new or don’t understand something. If I need to contact them, I can WhatsApp them. They're always available to provide advice.

What did you find most impressive about them?

UpMedico really tries to understand our work. They develop ideas based on that. They’re constantly on top of things and never skip a month. They're an essential asset since they always propose new things and help us stay on top of things. The London market is very competitive, but the team keeps implementing different strategies.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They can do more than what they’re doing at the moment. They’ve learned how to do the job, but they’re probably very busy. UpMedico could provide a total digital marketing company for companies that provide medical services.

The team could also focus a little bit more on ads for Instagram and Facebook. They don't advertise themselves. Nonetheless, the founder is a serious person and wants to do things right, but these new fields might be useful for him.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Spend a little time explaining your profile and what you want to sell. If you give UpMedico this information, they’ll be able to develop a very good website and make it SEO-friendly. They’ll also help you be on top of Google search in 6–7 months. With Google Ads, you’ll start to earn money.

However, you do need to give the team as much information as you can. You'll also need to spend a little bit.
