When Covid lockdowns hit in March 2020 we got the jump on them by two weeks and pivoted from our Road Case B2B sales business to creating Work From Home Desks which became an online B2C Ecommerce play. Our goal was survival but with the help of Unbound we thrived... and doubled our revenue and staff.

Unbound came recommended to us by two trusted companies we have worked with in the past. Despite the haste and the lockdowns we still vetted two other alternatives including a competitor of Unbound's that we had worked with before. A clear willingness to get the job done, have open communication and to let us grow and learn as we went where important factors in us partnering with Quentin and his team at Unbound.

Setup Google Ads, Analytics, Facebook and Instagram advertising for two newly created two websites - one in NZ & one in the USA. Along with a third NZ website project. The goal was to return a 4x ROAS in the first 90 days to help us survive. Did I mention we thrived!

I'm sure it was more than just Quentin and Christy managing our account and making it happen but they were the two we worked with week to week.

Our ecommerce stores grew from nothing to five figures in 30 days and into six figures a month within 90 days.

Until the lockdowns ended we did everything via Google meet. I meet Quentin for the first time in person four months after we started working with each other. We meet at least once a week in those early weeks and then once a fortnight.

Quentin is not fazed and is up for a challenge. I set a bar higher than most and I always felt I was working with someone that understood the job at hand and what it would take to succeed as we worked together.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
How to find long term scale became the issue for us. We grew to the point that we decided to bring ecommerce management in house. This process took over a year and Quentin walked with us until we were ready to be set free. I will always appreciated that skill of being able to help, grow and then let go that Quentin demonstrated.
