UMAI will execute a multi-channel marketing strategy to support Garden Republic’s seasonal retail placement in Target and strengthen overall brand presence and performance. The scope includes social media management, influencer marketing, Meta advertising, and email marketing, with a focus on driving awareness, engagement, and retail sales.

Social Media Management

Instagram

• Create and schedule 12 feed posts per month, including: 
  • Original photo and video content creation
  • Graphic design
  • Caption copywriting
  • Hashtag research

The project resulted in measurable growth across key areas: our social media following and engagement both increased, our email list expanded, and the overall look and feel of our social presence was significantly elevated. Additionally, we established a clear content and engagement framework to carry our social strategy forward.

Included full content ideation, copywriting, e-mail design and promo planning support.  Biweekly planning calls and quarterly KPI reviews.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Umai revamped our entire e-mail automation and increased automation revenue by 20%. Open rates, CTRs and other relevant KPIs all improved after implementing their recommendations. Triggers and timing were optimized for conversion as well. Shopify revenue attributed to e-mail increased 21% YoY. Social media following increased MoM, as did average likes, shares and saves per post.

Umai was always on time with deliverables. They are highly organized, pay great attention to detail, and never leave any project unfinished. In my almost 2+ years of working with them, I don't recall a time where they ever dropped the ball on a project. They are responsive, communicative and overall a fantastic team to work with.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I appreciated the direct communication I had with Karin and Alison. You often get passed around in agencies, but at Umia we were able to work closely with our project manager, Karin and Alison and they truly became like an extension of our marketing team. They specialize in better-for-you CPG food and bev brands, which gives them an innate understanding of how to speak to a very particular consumer. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something UMAI Marketing could have done differently?

No, they were incredible partners. Any time I had any semi-constructive feedback for them they welcomed it with open arms and open ears and made any ncessary adjustments.

UMAI team reused/recut video content on occasion when the internal team would have liked to see original content every time (although we were understanding of the need to do this based on our own budgets).
