I am a co-founder and the Chief Marketing Officer of Macaque.

Macaque is a premium spirits brand created by Filipinos, but distilled in Hsinchu County, Taiwan. Our unorthodox, yet masterfully blended, creations intertwine flavors from the East Asia region. With our identity anchored on the Formosan rock macaque’s yearning for togetherness, each bottle is designed to bring you closer as we toast to your success.

For what projects/services did your company hire Tribox Design, and what were your goals?

Me and my fellow co-founders had a vision for how we wanted the public to perceive Macaque - a premium spirits brand catering to Millennials and Generation Z. Unfortunately, we had no idea how to transform this vision into action. This led us to contract Tribox Design to provide direction and advice for the branding of our company.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We discovered them through clutch.co. After filtering the list of branding agencies available on the site, it was a toss up between Tribox Design and Tokyo Designed, based on our budget and needs. Both were prompt in responding to our inquiry. However, the difference lied in the professionalism of the former.

* The latter scheduled a Zoom meeting with us; the time, link, and date were proposed by them. We agreed. They didn't show up.

For what we requested, this was our structure and timeline:

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Only time will tell for we have yet to launch our brand. If you do hear about us in the future, it's safe to say that they did an excellent job.

They inform you a week prior regarding the agenda of the next meeting. Our correspondence was mainly through email and they usually reply within an hour. They were always on-schedule with the dates they proposed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What we found most impressive was how fast they worked and how everything was purely done online. They delved into the heart and soul of Macaque's vision, mission, values through theoretical methods like Marty Neumeier's "onlyness" statement.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None so far, From the get go, we weren't expecting them to serve everything to us on a silver platter. They had a very proactive approach and when there were suggestions on the outcomes they produced, they would review and revise accordingly.

I am the owner of my newly registered business that will soon to operate online. Will be selling clothing, headwear, footwear, and other essentials mainly for babies and toddlers.

I have hired Tribox to help me design a logo. I have a background in arts but needed the help of a registered professional to help me gather my thoughts and select the best color scheme for my brand.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Was browsing online for Filipino agencies as I know they have the work ethic and professionalism. My judgment was right. Tribox Design delivered more than what I asked for, and I am one that's very hard to please.

We had about 4 total virtual meetings. Discussion, brand expectations, 1st layout, and final layout, all done in a month period.

2 of them, the Owner and Co-Owner. But I believe they have a team that works together to complete the project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I love their map to completion. They are very detailed in every step of the way and they are very well prepared in every presentation. That goes to show that they have done their research very well. My final logo turned out very well and I am very confident that I won't have to change it in the future.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective. There is a continuous communication via emails, chat and google meets.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I love how they have created a unique font for my logo. Very rare to find detail-oriented freelancers or even a company as a whole.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I love everything about this company but there is one area I would really love to see in the future so that they can compete with US market in all aspects, it would be the Completion Time. My project took 1 month but that did not stop me from choosing them. But as a growing company, time is of the essence. Most Companies designing logo has a time frame of 1 to 2 weeks at the latest but sometimes this also means, less quality results. I hope they can offer an option to expedite the project without jeopardizing quality.

Brand Identity. Our goal was to rebrand and give our company a new face as we launch our company into the digital world.

We found Tribox as an affordable partner to help us professionally rebrand our company.

We started with a series of interviews to discover where Growfoods stands in the market and who our customers are. From there, Tribox was able to provide a great identity for our brand that truly represents who we are as a brand, where we position ourselves in the market, and who we are trying to cater to.

We worked with Sir Inu and Ma'am Regine, partner co-owners of Tribox.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since Growfoods is still in the process of working on other aspects before we launch the rebrand, we cannot provide any data. Nevertheless, we feel confident that our project with Tribox has placed us a foot forward with our rebranding project.

The Tribox team is from Cebu, so we had to communicate purely online. Despite that, communication never felt like a hindrance for our deliverables. Their team communicates clearly, on time, and delivers as promised.

Tribox Design establishes a good relationship with their customers. This ensures that we are truly communicating who we are as a company.

None.

I've seen a few of their work outputs and have been interested in partnering with them for a while now. They have clean cut designs that are easy to the eyes.

Tribox started with an exploration process which made it easy for both parties to work with. They were able to create my logo, social media templates, and other design deliverables as quick as they could.

The change of branding and design has clarified my scope of work and keeps me within boundaries too. It has also increased online engagements for my page.

They go deep into the soul of the company and creates an image that represents the totality of the idea. They really study the ins and outs of the company as well as apply design principles and inspirations.
