We’ve been working with Rachel (Director of Partnerships) for five years now. She comes to our office, meets with the head of our sales, and we explain to her the profile and skills we’re looking for in potential sales staff. Since she knows the project’s scope, she recommends candidates that we later interview to augment our team.

Rache has been our main point of contact since the start of the project.

They were already working with our company before I got here, and I took over that relationship when I joined.

We’ve been working together since January 2016, and the engagement is ongoing.

They’ve made numerous placements of talented and qualified individuals for our business. They understand our business, so we get quality recommendations that would fit us right on target.

How did Treeline Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re exceptional; Rachel is available through email or phone calls anytime we need something, even if it’s after hours or early in the morning — their interpersonal skills are great. Also, they’re always on top of the candidates and responsive whenever we want to reschedule anything. In terms of technology, they use an in-house system where they manage their candidates’ profiles.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their capacity to understand our needs and their ability to recruit qualified candidates that meet our requirements is what stands out to me — they have a good sense of our project. Other providers often send several resumes that I have to go through, but they take the time to figure out everything for me based on my requirements. It’s been easy to work with Rachel, and I’ve been enjoying this partnership.

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on.

It’s essential to build a relationship with them; make sure that you know what’s being communicated to Treeline Inc.’s team members who are doing the outreach to candidates so everyone understands the project’s scope.

What challenge were you trying to address with Treeline, Inc.?

We needed help finding well-qualified business development representatives. It is a difficult role to fill and we tried unsuccessfully for several months before bringing in outside help.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Treeline, Inc. provides recruiting services for us. They helped source multiple qualified candidates for the position. Their team proactively reaches out to candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, and other avenues.

Their team also helped us fill three of our technical account management positions. This was usually an easy position to fill, but we received such a high volume of candidates that we didn’t have the bandwidth to sort through. It took three weeks for Treeline, Inc. to go from a position description to a signed offer.

How did you come to work with Treeline, Inc.?

Treeline, Inc. was referred to us by one of our employees who had utilized their services in the past. They had a very good reputation and presented themselves well during the initial process. Additionally, they guaranteed they could provide us candidates within a week.

We have invested around $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing partnership began in December 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We were really impressed by their 3-week turnaround time. On average, two out of three candidates that Treeline, Inc. sends us we proceed in screening. We make an offer to one out of every three candidates.

The candidates we receive from Treeline, Inc. are always on the same page about the position, which hasn’t always been the case with other recruiting agencies we’ve worked with. They also provide additional resources and always attain their quota. 

How did Treeline, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

Our teams communicate via email. We don’t use any additional tools.

What did you find most impressive about them?

All of the candidates they send us are very well-qualified. They always fit exactly what we’re looking for. They don’t just throw stuff against a wall to see what sticks, they actually search for people that fit our needs.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they do everything I’d want an external recruiter to do.

What challenge were you trying to address with Treeline Inc.?

We needed help with our sales operations, specifically within our customs brokerage department. We had a lot of seats that we wanted to fill as our business grows. The ramp-up period was very intense. Our main business goal was to fill each role as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We gave Treeline six different locations and territories where we wanted to recruit senior-level sales executives to fit in our locations throughout the US. Treeline found four excellent quality candidates.

I was in contact with Rachel (Director of Partnerships). She also had a team underneath her.

How did you come to work with Treeline Inc.?

I’m not sure how we found Treeline, but we’re always looking for new agencies to partner with. Being in the supply chain and logistics industry, it’s hard to find good agencies that can source talent with niche knowledge.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $10,000–$50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in September 2020, and our four new sales executives started in January 2021. Everything was pushed back because of COVID-19.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They got us four people in four months. The quality of candidates presented was top-notch. The onboarding process for our new hires is still going very smoothly.

How did Treeline Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

Our deadlines were changing constantly. The team was flexible and adapted to our new recruiting strategy and what we needed to fill the roles. They had a pretty fast turnaround with candidates and presented them weekly. We used email and weekly calls to recap where we were with recruiting strategy.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were ready to accommodate any changes we had. The team moved the process along and got some candidates in the door for first-stage review. They were also coached and mentored our candidates depending on what we needed to help them think through our interview process. It helped the candidates really put their best foot forward.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could be more realistic with changes happening on our end. They worked very fast and wanted us to match their pace. Because of multiple layers of resume review, it can take time. They could be more patient when it comes to feedback on the candidates.

I’m a corporate people manager, or HR and recruiting manager, for a mid-sized distributorship corporation. Our company is in the building materials industry and we offer everything from sales to services.

What challenge were you trying to address with Treeline Inc.?

We needed additional support with hiring sales representatives for two of our divisions. Our team has had a hard time finding quality candidates that suit those positions.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Treeline Inc. helps us find credible candidates for our job openings. Each one of our searches runs for 30 days. We did a 30-day search for one of our divisions back in February, and then we went on a hiring stall. Once we picked back up with hiring, we started two additional searches for two different divisions at the same time.

What is the team composition?

I primarily work with Nicole (Sales Manager) but I also interact with one of their sourcing recruiters.

How did you come to work with Treeline Inc.?

We found Treeline Inc. through a web search. I reached out to them on their website and they promptly responded. 

How much have you invested with them?

Each 30-day search costs $5,300. So far, we’ll have spent about $20,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement started in February 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The way I measure success with a recruiter or with an agency is unique. It’s not easy to find candidates for our industry because when people find a company, they stay there for a long time. It’s hard to look for people who have experience in the industry.

Treeline hears my feedback on each candidate and they follow what I’m looking for based on the feedback. Even though we don’t go through thousands of candidates, the quality gets better and better every time. Because of that, we usually get five candidates that are worth my time and my sales manager’s time to talk to.

We’re currently about to bring on our third applicant and we’re on our fourth 30-day search for one of our divisions.

How did Treeline Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

The team has been organized and communicative. Treeline Inc. has been the most respectful of my time compared to the other agencies that I’ve dealt with. Since I handle a lot of things, babysitting a recruitment agency is not something I have time for. Being able to get quality work and interaction from them while also not having them be over-communicative is extremely helpful and pleasant. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Our best hire of 2020 came from Treeline Inc. Once this recruit came on board, it made everyone’s work a lot easier. There aren’t a lot of agencies that are willing to change their process just to make sure that you get what you need. Considering the costs that we pay them, it’s a pretty great price for what we get.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I honestly don’t have any negative feedback for them. They should continue to do what they’re doing.

Know what you’re looking for and know how to concisely communicate it so they can understand.

They provided us with great details and information on the candidates. It seemed like an extension of our team as they understand what we were looking for, our process and had great communication to both the candidates and us.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The quality of candidates and speed that they found them. Our CEO was so impressed he said hire 3 when we initially were only going to hire 1. The candidates all also said how great the process was and communication from Treeline.
