For what projects/services did your company hire TRAFIK?

We asked TRAFIK to create a visual aid to make medical examinations less frightening and more interactive for children with an autism spectrum disorder.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were familiar with TRAFIK prior to starting the project and were consistently impressed by their expertise, as they operate in the same industry and had a deeper comprehension of our desired outcome.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

First, they familiarised themselves with current examination and research practices. After gathering sufficient information, they generated initial concepts, from which the most suitable were selected. They then created detailed card designs based on the chosen concept and presented them to us. A few rounds of iteration took place, followed by final modifications, resulting in the final materials ready for delivery. The team provided great support throughout the process, guiding us every step of the way.

Altogether, three of them were involved: the managing director, the art director, and a graphic designer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

With TRAFIK, we were able to help autistic people to understand the world around them a little bit better. And in their case, even a little bit could mean a lot. Thanks to our projects together and their curiosity, TRAFIK gained a comprehensive knowledge of autism. Their understanding of people living with ASD and their expertise in design assured that what we developed now provides crucial support for autistic children and their families.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The process was seamless. TRAFIK is a team of top-notch professionals with strong attention to detail.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

It was evident that TRAFIK was deeply dedicated to the project and shared our passion for the cause. Their desire to create something exceptional was inspiring and they ultimately succeeded in delivering outstanding results.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I don't think that there is any, they were really professional and kind.

I am the principal of a specialised strategy consultancy, supporting the creation and execution of competitve strategies in the life sciences sector (pharma, medtech etc)

This project called for a complete revision of the Pragmedic brand, focused on the website but extending across multiple social media channels, video and other branded material.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I was aware of vendor from their work with my client companies.

Because of the failure of the previous, incumbent agency, this work needed to be done in a very short time scale. It also required Trafik to work with other supporting agencies.

This began with a fundamental revision of the brand message, followed through to a complete redesign of the website structure, followed by redesign of Pragmedic's graphics across the full range of media.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I worked with about 6 different people in Trafik, although the account handler remained the central conduit.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I was and continue to be delighted with the outcome that TRAFIK delivered. As well as meeting the tight deadlines, it has resulted in significant uptick in engagement across all channels. It is too early to say if this has had a business impact but early signs are good.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Because of the small nature of my company and the urgent timescale, this project required a flexible workflow. Although scheduling and discipline was important, the key issue was to be able to work around the time scale and this was achieved.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Trafik impressed me in three ways:

1. Their ability to understand the brief and to request clarity when it was missing
2. Their ability to take criticism constructively and to use it without defensiveness.
3. The ability of their team to work across internal roles without hindering the project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not really. There was one instance where I had to insist that we stopped trying to improve on already great work, but that was a very tiny issue and they responded well.

All work completed on time and used in the website and promotional materials. Video has 357 views on YouTube, and over 20K views on social media.

We worked with them through a subcontract with another agency, and there were times I wished we could have more direct contact to discuss the design briefs or revisions.

I personally and colleagues from other departments have worked with Trafik before and were also very happy with their work.

We needed the illustrations within a month. After the initial briefing call, Trafik came up with rough sketches of two different concepts. After we decided to go with one concept, they delivered 5 illustrations within the next 3 weeks.
