I’m the co-founder and CEO of WRLDS Creations AB, an IT solutions company helping brands with making their products more fun and engaging.

What challenge were you trying to address with Tractor Set GO?

We needed help with mobile app development.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped with mobile app development for our customers. They’ve developed almost 10 apps for us, with some are still in production. They’re primarily gaming apps, but some are more service-oriented apps with functions to display data. The apps typically include social features and intense graphic elements and assets. 

They do some of the backend themselves while some is done on our side. They build the apps from scratch, but they use our APIs in the apps. The apps are built using Unity and distributed through iOS and Android. They do a lot of design and UX related work during the development. 

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with probably 7–8 developers, three project managers, and 3–4 designers. We have main points of contact with the project lead and the founders.

How did you come to work with Tractor Set GO?

We found them through Upwork. One of my colleagues went to visit them and other app studios around Romania and neighboring counties. They decided Tractor Set GO was the best fit for us.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent about $250,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2018, and the work is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’ve been successful in meeting our requirements. We’re happy with their work, which is why we’re still using them.

How did Tractor Set GO perform from a project management standpoint?

We have a dedicated project manager, and we communicate primarily through Slack. We can also access everything through Jira. We have weekly calls and biweekly sprint calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They manage to deliver even if it’s an extremely tight timeframe and lacking clear deliverables. They’re flexible.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, we have a solid partnership with them. Everything is in good order.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure to get your hands on a project leader quickly so you can have one point of contact.
