The medical industry was gradually relying on technology and some of the best examples of that were electronic medical records, email communication with offices, and the things people need to research. There was hardly any hour of the day when people wouldn’t be using electronics. As a result, we needed to ensure that everything was happening within a secure framework through TotalCare IT’s help.

What was the scope of their involvement?

TotalCareIT has been our managed IT services and cybersecurity vendor longer than I’ve worked in the company. Their work involves identifying what we need to change. To do that, we’ve done mini discovery sessions so that they can understand what’s going on in our company. They also install and purchase hardware and software, and they provide on- and off-site services.

What is the team composition?

We work with at least half a dozen people, most of them are technicians. We also communicate with their CEO.

Their team was referred to us.

We have interacted with just about everyone from the CEO to the Help Desk. In every instance, we have received top notch service and everyone has been professional and timely in their response to our needs.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have successfully off-boarded all IT-related tasks that had been shared by a number of team members within the company. As a result, we have been able to more fully focus on the things that we are good and that make us money. The team at TotalCare IT have upgraded our network, increased our security, and brought us a peace of mind that we have never experienced before.

As mentioned, Aaron and Nick did a thorough assessment of our systems before we signed the contract - both parties knew exactly what needed to be done. I felt they communicated well with us during their on-boarding process and in making the changes that needed to be done. When there were issues, they remained engaged until they were resolved to our satisfaction.
