We hired TMotions as we had a project for a food delivery business that was looking to modernize their software. We had our own development team working on the project but needed to augment that team with additional external developers in order to complete the project on time and to the client's satisfaction. We called upon TMotions for additional staff which they were able to supply.

We have had a long working relationship with TMotions and have partnered with them on a number of projects The developers we have embedded onto our team have always been high quality and have fitted into our methodology and processes well and at a cost that was in line with the expectations of our clients

The developers from TMotions developed a back end web application that managed restaurants and food delivery riders The application is used primarily by the delivery company management and that app, along with the rider and restaurant apps we have created have allowed the company to grow and obtain more business

Over the course of the project we had one full time developer and leveraged the larger team at TMotions for design and additional development work

The project was delivered on time and to budget, the overall system was stable and the customer was happy with the improvements that were made to the platform that allowed them to work in a more efficient manner

The company has a wide range of skills within their team and have worked on a broad range of projects. The developers we had on board were able to use their knowledge of different projects to suggest new ways of working and improvements to current functionality that were for the better

TMotions were selected because of their flexibility of approach and the ability to supply high end, cost-effective technical resources.

We have had and continue to have a number of engagement models with TMotions. They provide services for Haymarket that include; fully outsourced support and maintenance of systems through to specialist resources working onsite in the UK. Technologies include; .Net, Drupal, WordPress and React.

This can fluctuate but is currently around 35 resources across the globe.

An example would be their work with our bespoke .Net CMS platform. They have taken ownership of its development and over the last 4 years have continually increased the velocity of work, reducing the cost per point whilst increasing the stability of the platform

They assign a dedicated PM to all projects who ensure client success. There are always challenges but what set TMotions Global Ltd apart is their openness to discuss challenges and their desire to resolve them.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They seem to have a really stable offshore team, we have had many of the same people working on our account for 5+ years

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They have clearly learnt a lot over the last 5 years about how Haymarket operates and have changed accordingly. What I would like them to do is to continually offer advice and expertise based on their learning outside of Haymarket to influence our progression.

I am the head of technology at Haymarket Media Group. Haymarket is a digital media company and our purpose is to create trusted, premium specialist media brands that build powerful communities and drive valuable conversations.

We were in the middle of the digital transformation; upgrading our legacy systems; changing business from the print to digital; creating new data and membership products Capacity, productivity and cost were a few challenges. We engaged TMotions to do bespoke development of our systems and applications.

We engaged a few suppliers and based on their offerings we selected TMotions. The main deciding factors were - Flexibility, cost effectiveness, quick time to delivery and technical capabilities.

Using the Scrum framework, we run team sprints and the team delivers features/ projects iteratively almost on a daily basis. Projects technology: Digital transformation - ColdFusion to .Net New data products - .net core, React and Mongo

There are 6 core team members and based on the need the team size could be 12-15 team members. We have Project manager, QA, Backend and front end developers working on our projects.

TMotions team has provided us core and flex model. Our velocity has increased almost by 40% at the same time cost was reduced by 50%.

The project management is great. The team meets most of the deadlines. We use Jira, Slack and Trello board for easy communications.

The flexibility TMotions provide to fulfil our requirements. We have access to all the team members and we find it very easy collaborating with the team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

At times, we think they put their team under a lot of pressure and don't say no to our work. We are working with the team where they can discuss delivery dates when things are tight.
