What impressed me most wasn't just their technical chops (though building complex algorithms that actually deliver real cost savings is no joke), but how they handled the whole process. No drama, no missed deadlines, just solid communication and problem-solving every step of the way.

The team really gets enterprise software. They understood our needs before we even finished explaining them, and they built something that our clients love using. That's rare in this space.

We went from zero to a fully functioning platform with real clients using it every day. TLVTech built the whole thing, got us through SOC 2 compliance (which was huge for landing enterprise deals), and deployed it with multiple customers.

The platform is actually saving our clients money - which is the whole point - and we're processing real procurement workflows. No major issues post-launch, customers are happy, and we can now sell to Fortune 500 companies because of the SOC 2.

Basically, we went from an idea to a legitimate enterprise software company with paying customers. That's what success looks like.

These guys were solid. No missed deadlines, no excuses - they just delivered what they said they would, when they said they would.

Communication was refreshingly straightforward. When we needed changes or had new requirements, they'd give us realistic timelines and stick to them. None of that "yeah sure, no problem" followed by radio silence.

They actually anticipated needs we didn't even know we had - especially around the SOC 2 stuff. Instead of waiting for us to figure out compliance requirements, they proactively handled it.

Weekly check-ins were useful, not just status theater. When issues came up, they solved them fast without making it our problem.

Honestly, it was the smoothest dev project I've been part of. No drama, just good work delivered on schedule.

They actually understand business, not just code. Most dev shops build what you ask for - TLVTech built what you actually need.

When we explained our procurement platform vision, they immediately got the enterprise angle. They knew we'd need SOC 2 before we even mentioned it. They understood our clients would need specific integrations and built for that from day one.

Plus they don't overcomplicate things. AI procurement sounds fancy, but they kept asking "will this actually save your clients money?" That business-first thinking is rare.

The whole team felt like an extension of our company, not some external vendor checking boxes. They cared about Vendorly succeeding, and it showed in the work.

Most dev shops are either really technical or really business-savvy. TLVTech is both, which is why the project actually worked.

Are there any areas for improvement or something TLVTech could have done differently?

Honestly? Hard to think of much. The project is going on smoother than most internal initiatives we've run.

If anything, they were almost too thorough sometimes. They'd spend extra time making sure edge cases were covered when we might've been okay with a quicker solution initially. But that attention to detail is exactly why we have zero post-launch issues now, so it was the right call.

Maybe they could've been more aggressive about suggesting additional features - they built exactly what we asked for, but looking back, there were opportunities where their expertise could've guided us to even better solutions earlier.

Really though, these are minor things. The thoroughness that sometimes felt like "over-engineering" is why our platform is rock solid today. I'd rather work with a team that cares too much about quality than one that cuts corners.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We have worked with a number of outsourcers from different locations.  Most of the time, outsourcers take requirements and bang out some code, without ever thinking about what it's supposed to do or how it fits with other features.  I really appreciate that TLVTech takes the time to investigate issues and requirements and think through the implications of a feature or change, not just technically but also funtionally.  It's always much better to partner with the technology team and collaborate - it leads to a better product and experience long term for everyone.

Are there any areas for improvement or something TLVTech could have done differently?

There was a delay in functionality caused by staffing issues over the summer which were outside of anyone's control.  In addition, it has taken longer to move forward on some fixes and issues because of the state of the code from our previous outsourcer (it was quite buggy).  I am still hoping we can move faster as the team becomes more familiar with the code at a detailed level.

TLVTech worked closely with our team to understand the requirements and objectives for the frontend development project. This included identifying the key features and functionalities of the application, as well as any specific design requirements or constraints. The developer designed and developed the frontend of our web-based application, using React.js, Redux and supporting technologies. 

TLVTech’s developer implemented a range of complex features such as interactive dashboards, real-time data visualization, drag-and-drop functionalities, and other advanced features. They made optimization by ensuring that the application loaded quickly, was responsive and user-friendly. Key deliverables for the project included: 

• Fully functional frontend components, code repository with all source code

They’ve developed a ready-to-use Docker installation infrastructure, as well as a Windows installation infrastructure which we’re continuing to maintain and support.

I'm an R&D Director in a startup software company that develop products in the IT/Security space.

Our backend codebase is developed in Java, and it's been 15 years since we updated the Java build tool (Ant). We want to use new technologies and new tools, and we need better visibility of the open source that we are using in our code. To do so, we needed to implement a modern Java build tool like Gradle, and embed it as part of our compilation and build processes.

I went to Facebook to look for any private local contracts that can i can manage and assist during this project - on site.

The project was long and some of the process were written 10 years ago, and we over come many challenges along the way. Once we'll merge the results to the main dev branch - it will be the only java build tool for my entire team.
