For what projects/services did your company hire Tiger Softwares, and what were your goals?

Our company hire Tiger Softwares for made Unified GIS-based city-management software solution in City of Szeged. We're looking for a software we can follow our truck, furthermore calculate areas where this special trucks worked.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Before this software development, we knew practically nothing about the current working conditions of our trucks. We were looking for modern, user-friendly software that makes daily work easier. An important aspect was the quick and reliable availability of the developers.

The software works on a Microsoft SQL database system, in a Windows environment. The very first step is to display the current position of the vehicles, with the special sensors placed on them. The next step is the calculation and display of the vehicle work for our employees. These calculations can be exported in several formats. The further development of the software is continuous, it is capable of orthophoto display, area calculation and handling of public announcements.

In practice, we worked together with the entire development team.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Data can be flexibly exported from the software and used in work statistics. The biggest advantage is that our company's work has become more efficient, to the satisfaction of our city.

During the development, we prepared a development plan. Based on this plan, supplemented by continuous user needs, the process progressed smoothly. Most often the developers visited us, and then we communicated via phone and e-mail. All smaller modules were completed on time based on the session, and overall we are satisfied with the developers.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive thing about this company is that they thought together with us. They also had useful ideas that helped to prepare the right software.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The development of the software is continuous. According to changing needs. The core of the software makes this possible.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’ve had many projects with Tiger Softwares. For one, they’ve built our software from scratch. They’re taking care of the software’s maintenance and hosting. Apart from that, they’ve developed an online registration system for student workers. We’re also integrating our homepage with our software.

We work with about five people from their team. Our main point of contact is their managing director, and he works with their developers.

Tiger Softwares was referred to us by someone who worked with them before. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent over $100,000 on the project. 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership started in February 2016, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The software shows us useful data. Using this piece of software, we can measure data and pull up any numbers we need. Our management team is using it to create reports. Meanwhile, we also see increased numbers for the online registration system they created. 

How did Tiger Softwares perform from a project management standpoint?

Tiger Software is great. They meet our deadlines and work within our budget. On top of that, the team is responsive. We use email to communicate and Google Documents for tasks.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re exceptional, and we’re quite satisfied with them. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Sometimes, they don’t work as fast as we want. They can benefit from having more employees. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Share as much information as possible with them about your project. That way, they can execute it well.

I'm working in an IT Servives company as a tester and besides that I'm a karate practitioner.

As a karate club we've wanted a software that we can use for organizing events. There were a lot of conditions that the software needed to met. We've hired Tiger Softwares to build the web application from the scratch.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I've known the owner of the company from previous transactions sowhen the idea came we've scheduled a meeting with him and his team. I knew they are producing software at a high level, and that quality was needed!

We had a meeting where we've given our product specification with us. I'd preffered .NET technology. After the kick off meeting we've put milestones dwon and of course we've communicated with each other. The first milestone was the "front" website where the registrations are made and the second one was the hardest the "backend" of the software the admin site.

They provided us 2 developers and a project manager and we had a designer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The organized event with more than 250 participant was a success! All of the functions worked perfectly! It reduced the previous solutions time by 70-80 percent! That's huge!

We had meetings once a month but we've communicated in e-mail frequently.

Any desired feature or modification was welcomed. On top of that, if they could offer a better solution, they mentioned them.

I couldn't tell any yet. We were very satisfied!

Babylon Global Ltd. belongs to del REY International Group of Companies (DRI), coordinates Erasmus+ Internship placements for university students and fresh graduates, and helps Mediterranean hotels find interns from EU education institutions. 

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

DRI needed a special HRIS & ATS software that could handle application and placement processes and provide solutions for our unique documentation handling needs. Our employees work from different parts of the world, so the software had to be optimized for mobile and remote working (in 2013!), could handle an enormous amount of sensitive personal data and manage the complex workflow processes effortlessly.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We wanted to find a software development team experienced in providing unique solutions, and Tiger Software's references and knowledge of Eastern European and Hungarian markets were appealing.

In 2013 we had already planned the software to be able to work under peak performance. Thus we faced no performance problems and the advanced IT technology was an impressive asset during Covid. Our ATS has been (and will be) updated with newer and more complex modules over the years (invoicing, financial module, document management module, social media module. affiliation program, etc).

We worked together with many employees of Tiger Softwares during the years. They were flexible and helpful, and the communication was flawless in English and Hungarian. We would like to give a special thanks to Mr Marton K., CEO of Tiger Softwares, whose knowledge and creativity helped to make our plans to reality.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Before Covid, 38 remote working employees managed approximately 12.000+ internship placements, using the ATS in different languages. We are in the middle of a rebound and hope to double this number soon.

They are punctual and consistently communicate the milestones. Sometimes we have to face unexpected problems (e.g. due to legal background changes which affect the placement processes). Still, Tiger Softwares' team tries to stay flexible and do their best to prioritize tasks based on our requests.  

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Creativity. They always offer unique solutions to our problems and requests. They know the market very well and can integrate other software solutions into our ATS (e.g. Jotform, MailChimp, Asana, 0365). Thanks to their knowledge and creativity, we have a tremendous competitive advantage.

We are satisfied with their performance and the quality of their services.
