I am Project Head at MyCalicut, an e-commerce marketplace with integrated delivery network connected to local retailers in Calicut.

A generic E-commerce marketplace was the solution we were looking for to incorporate to our business idea, which need to be delivered initially as an MVP and later to be upgraded.

The architectural capacity and scalability was crucial, commitment of the team and their continued support helped us to manage and serve better, especially in managing the huge demand driven by Covid.

Development of Store based product listing platform in web, mobile and mobile app versions, Developing Delivery rider mobile app to perform delivery and integrate multiple type of delivery systems like store owned delivery, delivery boy, delivery by Taxi driver etc. CMS Web and App for shops to list and manage store, product and services etc. Launching of the total project and carrying out digital promotion strategies.

5-8 persons in different stages

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Yes, we initially started this project with an estimated revenue target of 20% in the first quarter and we could achieve the same in first Quarter and consistently we achieved the targeted revenue in all following quarter till end of 2021.

They were flexible, listening and ready to accept the unavoidable 11th hour changes. The communication platform used was email, whatsapp and slack.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They acted as a consultant in visualising the project and their visionary suggestions helped us to avoid possible mistakes an ecommerce business may commit initial stages. They anticipated glitches and shared the best possible solutions in each stage of development where there is potential to err. They helped us augment the platform.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They can bring more professionalism in communication especially among their technical team, this will help them to build more confidence for their clients.
