Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

A high value client required a very specific print item for a VIP event, which in essence had to seem like a capsule brand launch. We asked Thread to partner up from the offset, in order to generate a creative strategy together, which we could then use as a red thread throught the event as well as guide the development of the book. 

The entire graphic identity had to be developed along precise parameters and utilised for a variety of collateral. But the book was the pièce de résistance, involving intricate high-end details, from the embossing of certain text, layout and bespoke quality of image print to the sophisticated stitching. Finally later editions rerquired smaller personalised individualisations.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Not only bringing Thread on board as a vendor, but as a partner who shared expertise and creative input, and also was present with some client meetings to take the lead for their part of the process. Their patience and reactivity to the multiple requests from the high-demand client and their attention to detail was highly appreciated by both our client and us.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

There were always clear lines of communication with one SPOC, and despite more changes than anticipated the work was delivered on time and in budget. Most importantly, the whole process was loads of fun!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their boundary pushing creativity, attention to detail, astute knowledge of their craft, from aesthetics to materials, and just that they are all really nice people.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Thread Design could have done differently?

Not really. Perhaps stocking Belgian beers in their fridge ;-)
