I'm the founder of Musicing, a digital music education platform that makes learning, creating, and experiencing music more engaging, interactive, and accessible for learners of all levels. We combine music instruction with creative exploration in a user-friendly online environment.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What specific goals or objectives did you hire THINGS to accomplish for your business?

We engaged THINGS to design and develop a custom learning experience platform for a new model of music education. The scope required them to understand both the service design elements of our teaching and engagement approach and to build on previous demos to refine the brand identity and platform aesthetic.Specific goals included designing UX/UI mock-ups for the platform, improving platform flow, features, and functionality, and preparing design-ready assets for backend development handoff.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

THINGS handled the design and prototyping of our platform. They started with a kickoff and analysis of existing wireframes, journeys, and prototypes. From there, they conducted a UX/UI review and audit across learner and educator flows. The team then made design improvements and simplifications for the MVP. The final deliverable was a full working Figma prototype ready for backend developer handoff.

We found them through a referral. We chose them over other options because their pricing fit our budget, they were a great culture fit, they offered good value for the cost, and their company values aligned with ours.

We worked together between May and June 2026.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We had weekly presentation updates on design progress. THINGS delivered comprehensive UX/UI mock-ups demonstrating iterative refinement. They also coordinated with our backend developers on deliverable format and quality. The successful handoff was evidenced by the developers' ease of implementation. We also received positive stakeholder reviews, including from myself, that highlighted the brand's representation as a platform, the simplicity of features, and the process of booking and managing sessions.

How did THINGS perform from a project management standpoint?

They delivered on time and went above and beyond. We communicated via virtual meetings, email, and a messaging app.

What did you find most impressive or unique about them?

THINGS' positive creative attitude, competency, and general sociocultural chemistry with us were impressive.
