TheUXProdigy was engaged to evaluate and validate the design of our new native sportsbook app in the Greek market. The project combined user testing, design validation, and competitive benchmarking to ensure the app delivers a premium and market-relevant experience. Key Deliverables: 

• User Testing of Specific Flows – Conducted usability testing on core sportsbook flows (e.g., navigation, bet placement, betslip handling) to identify friction points and improvement opportunities. 
• Font Size Evaluation – Researched and validated optimal font sizes for readability, accessibility, and overall user experience in a sportsbook app context. 
• Competitor Analysis – Delivered a structured review of key competitor apps to highlight strengths, weaknesses, and design trends relevant to the Greek market.

I am working at Geekbot as a UX designer. We are company that allows companies run standup meetings in Slack and MS Teams, in order to promote asynchronous cooperation and boost productivity.

We always strive to improve Geekbot's UX. This is the purpose of our UX team. We needed to have a holistic (unbiased) approach on how we identify the usability of our platform.

Our own team could identify a big part of the existing issues, but our daily engagement with the product would not allow an 100% unbiased approach. An external reviewer would allow a different view on our product and a much less biased critique.

How did you select this vendor?

We had already known about this agency and that it's among the best in Greece and we already had previous experience from various UX workshops that they excellently facilitated. This made it an easy choice for us.

We provided theUXprodigy with a list of actions to perform on our platform. This was handled by one of their people. They run the list of tasks identifying the UX issues that they listed in a report with severity and possible solutions.

Once we presented the list of the tasks that we wanted them to perform, they delivered the results in the agreed time-frame.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We managed to have a combined UX backlog that consists from both our own observations and theirs, rated by severity, which helped us better form our UX and product priorities.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project was completed within the time-frame that we agreed upon. Their team was very helpful, and our communication was very effective.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their attention to detail and the depth of their observations. They managed to trace issues that required from the user to go the extra mile. Also, the way they presented the results was extra helpful for us in order not to have to spend too much time reworking them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Maybe a different medium of results (other than PDF) that would allow us more efficiently transfer their findings to our PM tool. Not of that big importance, but it could be a minor improvement.

I was a relative new-comer to UX and first came across The UX Prodigy a couple of years ago, when I began attending their very popular Athens UX Meetups. But I got the chance to truly appreciate their work last year, when we all found ourselves operating remotely. They were quick to respond with a remarkable series of monthly live online courses, ranging from a general introduction to in depth exposition of various key aspects of UX research and design.

Their seminars always combined a concise presentation of theory, with plenty of opportunities for individual and collaborative hands-on practice. Both regular and guest tutors were seasoned professionals, actively working in the field, who were keen to share key insights and very useful practical tips.

Most guest tutors had cooperated with The UX Prodigy in the past, in prijects they undertook in their capacity as an agency.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I truly appreciated how The UX Prodigy courses regularly attracted participants from a variety of backgrounds, many of whom turned up regularly, contributing to an amazing colaborative atmosphere, the formation of a community and a fantastic learning experience!

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Tutors were always available to help during and after the courses were over. Questions were always answered in a manner I considered thorough, and constructive feedback was alwayscorovided during the wirkshops and exercises. I should also note that on several occasions, when non-greek participants joined us, the seminars were ran in English, each time with outmost proficiency.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What I remember most about these classes was that they were always fun to attend! In fact, in more than one occasion, both tutors and students found ourselves extending the seminar long past its official closing time.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There were several points of improvement raised by myself and other course attendants, as we were regularky asked to provide feedback and ideas for improvement or topics we would like to learn more about. I am happy to say that every suggestion I made has been adopted.

First of all the training content was extremely relevant, to the point, well written and included a variety of forms like visual representations, presentation notes and a lot of interactive elements like role plays, collaborative assignments and group presentations. This approach not only helped us stay highly engaged throughout the program but also gave us the opportunity to quickly absorb the learning material.

All the training instructors were very experienced, always willing to provide us with feedback and insightful tips. Furthermore, they were eager to answer our questions and support us throughout the learning process. They even proposed to schedule an additional session free of charge to discuss additional questions & concerns we might had.

It was the first time I experienced training that its content was to the point and well organized. They provided us with a lot of techniques and tools that we have started using in our everyday work from the very beginning.
