At the beginning of the engagement, it was clear how urgent this feature was for us, and we can say that Thaloz exceeded expectations to deliver the feature on time despite the short period of time to know about both the Aster codebase and the EFax integrated provider.

The human quality is excellent. Working with them is a pleasure; therefore, communication is fluid. Nonetheless, they have great talent, are knowledgeable about their tools, and are adaptable to new environments.

The estimations were a bit off for non-core features, but this is understandable considering the short period both parties had to prepare for the engagement.

Design an in-house Learning and Development Platform:

• Backend:
  • Allow admin users to create course content, view course reporting, and export KPI data. course content includes various formats of online documents, online and offline videos, and local documents.
  • Certain courses have course prerequisites; a Learning Path maps these Courses into a logical sequence for the platform users to follow.
  • Courses are created in Modules to separate sections and ensure focused learning and progression.
  • In-video questions ensure the user has understood the content, and if the users answer the question incorrectly, the video will return to a predetermined point in time. A post-course Assessment can be included in the course Module. A certificate is generated and the user's team leader is notified.
  • Course enrollment can be mandatory or voluntary.
  • Roles and Permissions allow platform users to be assigned to groups, groups are then assigned to courses or Learning Paths & email notifications keep the user and team leaders up to date on the progress.

• Front end:
  • Display current course progress, mandatory courses with deadlines, and voluntary courses. The Learning Path(s) display the course sequence graphically for easier understanding.
  • Each Assessment can have its own Passgrade and Attempts Limit. Exceeding the Attempts limit will lock the course, preventing the platform user from continuing, the Team Leader is notified and can unlock the course.
  • In addition to the course content, each course module has optional Resources (files), External Resources (URLs), and FAQs.
  • Certificates can be viewed or downloaded. Users can upload external certificates to the platform to include CPE in their progress.
