Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm Alex, CEO at Squareshot. We're a tech-enabled B2B company based in NYC. Squareshot takes pictures of products that brands and companies sell online. We have a completely different approach - the whole process is trackable, transparent and integrates with your eCommerce stack.

For what projects/services did your company hire Teonica?

Develop a web app for Squareshot. Our web application guides you through the content production process and integrates with major sales channels like Shopify, and soon will be integrating with fulfillment service providers, and inventory management systems, so it finally makes product imagery production super fast, transparent and cost-efficient.

Build the product from scratch.

What was the team composition?

We've been working with 2 highly skilled frontend developers from their team for the last 7 months and continue to do so. We use Mattermost for communication and Asana as a task manager.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Since the web app launch (3 months ago) we've generated 6-figures in revenue, finished hundreds of orders and delivered thousands of images through the app developed by Teonica.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We use Mattermost for communication and Asana as a task manager. Every month we receive the report with time spend on the project. Everything simple and straightforward.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They are a highly-skilled team, I’d recommend them to anyone who wants to get it done. They've built a web app for Squareshot from scratch. The quality, communication skills, and work ethic are on a different level compared to any frontend studios I've ever worked with. 

Are there any areas for improvement?

Once they grow they would need to add some structure to the work process but at this point considering the high pace, it's unnecessary.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the founder of Revat CrossFit Gym in Lviv, Ukraine. In Revat we have a team of seven CrossFit coaches. We do four group workouts and from 10 to 20 personal workouts each weekday.

For what projects/services did your company hire Teonica?

We were using spreadsheets for customer and work management for more than three years. While searching through existing solutions for gyms we understand that nothing meets our needs. We decided to find a software company in our city to develop a management system for our gym.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted one application for receptionist with the ability to create new customers profile and track activity(visits, payment) of existing customers. Another application - for gym manager with the ability to track coaches activity and calculate their salary.

How did you select this vendor?

Teonica was recommended as a reliable software development company by my friend, who was working with them. I decided to start the project with them after visiting the office and speaking with the CEO. Their approach to work turned out to be very close to mine.

They have spent one week to define detailed requirements and create project roadmap. Each second week we had a call where they were presenting functionality that was done. They have finished project in time and all requirements were met.

What was the team composition?

Project team consisted from a BA/PM, frontend developer and backend developer.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Now all business data is digitalised. I have the ability to check gym status with a smartphone. Coaches salaries are calculated automatically and business processes are clear for everyone.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

I was mainly in touch with a product owner, explaining him business needs and giving feedback. He was communicating with developers. They were managing all work inside the team, showing results every two weeks.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Most of all, I liked their approach—they helped me to focus on the true needs of the business and cut off unnecessary functionality.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I haven`t noticed anything.
