We were recommended this vendor by another colleague who also had an excellent experience with TechNext.

We had a series of discovery meetings to bring out vision to life and nail down the details on what was realistic. TechNext helped up to understand the entire process and timeline very clearly. We working through the discovery phase, the design phase, the beta testing, and then the final product! Every step of the way TechNext worked closely with my team including weekly meetings, timely email follow ups, and presenting inquiries and troubleshooting efficiently.

A project manager (and owner) was our main point of contact. We worked directly with the team through most of the project. Specialists would join our meetings to troubleshoot details as needed. The owners also worked directly with us and maintain close contact throughout the project.

We are in the process of launching out app but feel confident it will be successful!

Their mobile app development skills are amazing! They could take my dreams and ideas and bring them to life. They integrated features I didn't even know were options!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience with TechNext. They have been wonderful to work with and we intend to work with them again!

I was looking for a team with expertise in UX/UI designing for my fintech web application. I had an MVP built with React and wanted to come up with the apt UX and visual design. I hired TechNext Studio to create the UX and UI mock-ups and then also integrate the new designs in the React code.

What were your goals for this project?

I wanted to have a modern, clean, and visually engaging design for my React-based web application. I wanted someone to create the UX/UI designs and also create the front-end designs and integrate them with the back-end. My app had a few complex components for searching and filtering the data so appropriate user experience was critical.

I searched for companies online that would match my needs. I found TechNext through LinkedIn and I also saw their UX/UI portfolio on Behance. I saw what I liked, and I realized after the initial conversation, that it could be a perfect fit for my requirements.

I had an idea in the fintech space. I had built an MVP in React but it did not have any visual design or usability from the user’s perspective. I hired TechNext Studio to take care of the complete product design and UX/UI.

We started with an initial call where I explained my product to their product design lead and then they came up with the initial mock-ups and frankly I did not expect such a high level of outcome.

After some revisions, I was quite happy with the overall look and feel of the product. After the mock-up round was completed, their front-end engineer converted the designs into a working code and also integrated them with the back-end.

What was the team composition?

Team TechNext has a well-organized and efficient team, specifically for my project, they have allocated one project manager, 1 Sr UI/UX designer, and 1 front end developer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

TechNext team provided us with their UX/UI services and designed the high-fidelity visual mock-ups that were engaging and easy to use. They have a very interactive project execution process.

Initially, they designed rough mock-ups to make sure they understood my idea. Then they designed wireframes. And, after a couple of revisions, they delivered the high-fidelity mock-ups for my web app.

Their team understood my product thoroughly and provided their inputs to improve the user experience and user interface design. Their front-end engineer converted those mock-ups and integrated the UI/UX designs with our react code.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow between me/my team and them was quite efficient. The resources they have allocated were responsive and easy to work with. They regularly shared the updates and worked on the feedback I provided. They managed to meet the deadlines with great outcomes.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their swift and clear communication and ability to solve the design problems have been quite impressive. I found it so easy to work with them. One more thing I would like to mention here that they are extremely detail-oriented. The final UX/UI designs they provided were impressive and honestly exceeded my expectations.

I can't think of any. Everything has been good so far!

TechNext was hired to develop a user guide landing page for my client, Overlap. I worked directly with Nimit, who is extremely professional and experienced in his craft, for 3 months working to develop the 'how to' website.

The goal was to complete the development and build out out of the comprehensive user guide within the proposed timeline, which was successful.

This vendor was initially selected by Overlap, as they had a very positive experience with this vendor with both current and past development projects.

There was an initial kick-off call talking about the scope and timeline of the project. Nimit and I had weekly meetings via Zoom to touch base and review the progressing user guide. The technologies used in this project was HubSpot CRM.

Hi worked with Nimit directly. Nimit was not only my point of contact throughout the duration of the project, but also leading the development efforts.

My general feedback about the deliverables is that everything was accurately and professionally produced - providing a clean, modern style to the web pages.

The project management style was organized and on task - the communication was consistent and fluid throughout the duration of the project making it possible to complete the build out within the timeline.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What I found most impressive about the company was the hands on approach to the project as well as the genuine understanding of my needs/requests when it came to providing detailed directions and project layouts. TechNext Studio was able to successfully build out the platform pages based on my written requests and capture the essence perfectly.

At this time, there are none that come to mind!

We needed help creating elements for our new marketing website, including graphic design, new icons, and a new logo.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They designed 15 new icons for our marketing site, as well as a new logo, and an animated version of the logo. The team used Adobe Illustrator.

We worked with two people from their team, including a project manager and an illustrator.

I posted a listing on a freelance platform and reviewed a host of different businesses that popped up as a good fit. After seeing their portfolio, I decided to give them a shot.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2020, and we wrapped up in August 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

In terms of the logo design, we love it. We also love the animated logo as well. The team took feedback really well since there was a lot of back and forth in assessing which design to go with.

How did TechNext Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

Generally speaking, they did a really good job. The team’s communication was really good and adhered to the timeline pretty well. There was only one delay, which was because their animator was out sick during the pandemic, and it took a while for them to come back. There were really no hard deadlines for any of the work, so it didn’t really matter. We used the freelancer platform for communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their ability to take feedback and take our concerns seriously was impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It may have been a little difficult for them to understand our aesthetic. It took a little going back and forth, but we figured it out in the end.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They have a competitive rate for what they offer. This team is a great option for any early-stage company without a ton of resources.

Web design, CRM backend creation, customer portal portal creation. Ensuring CRM and customer portal integration successfully. Vendor followed all documentation supplied and ensure completion ask asked. Email captured in CRM to capture subscribed users for our marketing campaign. Vendor provided recommendations for some features.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We intend on going live within the next 4 weeks. Working with this vendor on this major project has allowed us to expand our business plans as we progressed through each step. The project allowed us to realize how best to scale our business.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project manage was as expected. All meetings, timelines and communication was fluid and smooth. This is why we continue to use this vendor. No issues with language barrier. Vendor always made themselves available.

What were your goals for this project?

My goal was to have a product available for customers to purchase, gyms to leverage, and for me to easily make updates without having to hardcode it in.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I had worked with the founder in a previous project. He was starting a web development company at the same time so it kind of worked out.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

Originally the requirements were sent via excel and sized accordingly. We have graduated to using Jira to check tasks, bugs. receive sizing estimate on potential new features and really all communication with the development team. The main things I care about when asking for new features within Fit Mix are 1) security 2) ease of use by my users 3) ease of use by my gyms and 4) easy to scale. They have consistently met these goals in timely fashions. Sometime it blows my mind how fast and high quality requests get done. Especially when I make last minute requests. COVID-19 caused quite a few urgent requests and they were on top of it all.

What was the team composition?

I generally work with 1 person who manges the workload of the team depending on the feature, bug, type of request. I also still speak with the founder on a regular basis to provide feedback on the team, random questions, etc.

This entire solution was created by TechNext Studio. I like to think I have a good business mind but do not have the ability to develop at the level that they are. They truly are my product team. I have a few resources outside of Tech Next that I work with from time to time to bounce ideas off of but 99% of the work goes to this team.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Originally it was using Excel and evolved into Jira. Despite them being in India and me being in the US I experience very little issues with time or language (considering the common language is English that is no surprise). I find that it is up to me to send requests in Jira as clearly as possible and that prevents a lot of back and forth. From time to them there will be questions on my requests and usually it is around scenarios I hadn't thought of so I greatly appreciate that. They don't just do what I ask, but they look at the solution as a hole and make sure I don't miss anything.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Everything is impressive about them. Communication is always there. Turn around time is quick. Timelines are met 90% of the time. When they aren't it is due to scope creep on my part. They are a real joy to work with. I know I can be a pain sometimes and they never let me know if they are annoyed.

Are there any areas for improvement?

The only place for improvement would be payment. I wish there was an easy way to pay them. Though ironically i would bet that this would be their area of improvement for me as I don't always pay the day it's requested and it can take a couple of weeks.

The project was completed according to schedule. The final design exceeded expectations. Theyadditionally provided consulting and creative ideas that led to a great final deliverable.

Project management occurred through shared documents within google drive and Slack. Niralee always maintained good communication despite being halfway across the globe.

I find the quality of work at the price point, it was impressive.

Some elements of the process could have been more standardized and communicated up front. This never became an actual issue, however.
