I reached out to Taurist because I needed a website and it needed to be easily updated and in Portuguese. I wanted the website to be well designed and a reflection of my brand. It needed to be sleek in design, aesthetically pleasing and explain the various services we offer. Additionally, we needed a place to house all our tours and trips.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

All I wanted was a working website, that was my goal. But Edu and Taurist delivered way more than that. They guided me through the design and development process and gave great advice and recommendations. Plus he thoroughly researched my business, my competitors, and customers in a way that had me trully impressed. Our website is working great and is getting great conversions.

Taurist actually delivered every item on time, nothing ever got delayed. We got a calendar of all their deliverables and it was all followed. They always respond quickly and walked me through all my questions and requests.

There were definitely a few things that impressed me. From their extensive research to their designs. I was also impressed that everything was on schedule.

There was a problem with the user experience as far as engagement and retention specifically concerning the recording studio. Also, just needed a first look feedback on the general flow and design of the app.

• From the first meeting, Edu came to the table with actionable steps that needed to be taken and simple design changes that could be implemented immediately. He was confident in his process, what he could accomplish in the given timeframe and within the budget.

Edu and the Taurist team were responsive, flexible, and professional. Projects were delivered within the given timeline and he was always available to troubleshoot issues via email or a video chat if it was necessary.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was most impressed by the fact that research had been done beforehand. Edu had already downloaded Audilore and did not waste time in that first meeting. It wasn’t just a “get to know you” first meeting, he came to the call with ideas ready to go.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Taurist Technologies could have done differently?

Everything we worked in went smoothly and my project was smaller than what they normally handle. Maybe they could send me a reminder to check the file when items were added? But that was more my responsibility than theirs.

I'm one of the co-founders of Conquer, a mobile app/marketplace that ranks and connects athletes in one-off sporting events.

Design and testing/feedback for our app's Ui/Ux.

How did you select this vendor?

Interviewed several and their founder was a customer on our platform and knew the market very well.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

Full re-design of the app, tested our new leaderboard feature and the process for both sides of our marketplace, and gave recommendations based on user feedback.

Yes, great feedback from customers and facility partners.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective, tehy joined our slack channel and asked for continuous feedback/was very responsive even at crazy hours. 

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The level of knowledge not just about ui/ux design, but the genuine passion for our market and industry. They went above and beyond on research and advice outside the project's scope.
