We provide custom email services for a variety of industries. We specialize in sending mail customized to individual subscriber preferences and tracking subscriber response.

Our system is a self-hosted Software as a Service application. Talentica has been our development partner, adding features and new applications to the customer administrative website and developing new in-email features, as well as supporting services.

Our business goal has been to continue to lead our industry in capabilities, features, and customizations.

The project is a set of websites with over 700 pages and 30 windows services to support the features. Talentica helped us with building that system, keeping it up to date with the server technologies, and adding new features and customizations for specific customers. Their team has been responsible for our development over most of our relationship.
What was the team composition?
The number and composition of team members has varied over the years, but we've mostly had a core team of 5-7 developers with additional resources in QA or Operations when we felt it was needed.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
Talentica's work has provided the software for the core of our business, our business would not run without their contributions.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
Most recently our project has been managed using Jira. This seems to work well for the team and integrates with our source management system well.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I have always been most impressed with the way that the team handles the constantly changing priorities we give them. As our development team, they tackle large and small projects with enthusiasm.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Because of the length of our relationship, turnover in our team has been inevitable. Talentica gives us notice when they can, and find qualified replacements for us, but the transitions are always a little disruptive.
