Takt provided pro bono creative services to Hagar, producing a powerful 60-second awareness video focused on scam centre human trafficking, which is an emerging and complex issue that is difficult to communicate clearly. 

Their scope of work was comprehensive, spanning strategic concept development, storyboarding, script writing, casting, filming, and full post-production. Beyond the video itself, Takt collaborated closely with our internal team to shape the accompanying landing page and supporting marketing strategy, ensuring the asset could be released effectively and reach the right audiences.

Over the past 18 months, this video has been a cornerstone of our awareness and education efforts in North America. It has helped us build emotional resonance with audiences, introduce a little-understood form of trafficking in a clear and compelling way, and support donor and partner engagement without resorting to exploitative storytelling. Takt brought a strong balance of creative excellence, strategic thinking, and sensitivity to the subject matter, making them a trusted partner for mission-driven work.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The primary goal of this project was awareness-building and emotional resonance around a little-understood form of human trafficking. Success was measured through sustained use, audience engagement, and strategic integration across our communications.

Over the past 18 months, the 60-second video has been consistently used across our North American marketing channels, including digital campaigns and donor communications. It became a core storytelling asset for introducing scam centre trafficking and helps audiences quickly understand the issue and its human impact. In digital promotion on Google and Meta, the video has generated strong engagement, reaching exponentially more people than we did in previous years.

Their scope included pre-production planning, shoot organization, on-set direction, and post-production delivery. They guided us through on-camera video recording using structured prompts, making the process efficient and comfortable, and ensured all content aligned closely with our brand identity. Across two shoots, they produced a library of high-quality visual assets that we continue to use across our digital platforms.

The project resulted in a complete library of professional photo and video assets that allowed us to launch our website and initial marketing campaigns on schedule and with a cohesive visual identity. The content significantly elevated our brand presence and credibility at launch, reduced the need for additional reshoots, and enabled consistent use across multiple channels including our website, paid campaigns, and social media. Internally, the structured approach to filming improved efficiency and confidence on camera, allowing us to capture high-quality video content in fewer takes than anticipated.

What stood out most was their ability to combine a high level of organization and professionalism with a creative process that felt easy and supportive. The structured prompts and on-set guidance made recording video content approachable and efficient, while still allowing the final product to feel natural and on-brand. They clearly listened to our goals and translated them into visually compelling content that aligned seamlessly with our brand vision, which is not always easy to achieve early in a brand’s lifecycle.
