The scope of work included a thorough redesign of the reporting system at the National Bank of Vanuatu Ltd. This involved meticulous analysis of over 60 reports, designing a sophisticated data warehouse, seamless integration with Temenos T24 Core Banking System, and implementation of an advanced reporting system.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Improved efficiency of report generation, enhanced accuracy of the reports generated. Thanks to the new reporting system, our satisfaction with reviewing reports has greatly improved.

Sysbu have been very proficient in providing the customized solutions. They have been quick to respond to our requests and queries, even when we had live issues that required their urgent attention. In terms of project management, Sysbu has not only delivered items on time but has also maintained open lines of communication, fostering a collaborative and proactive approach to meeting our objectives.

We were genuinely impressed by the capabilities of their low-code platform. What sets them apart is their innovative approach to developing applications within this platform. Not only does their platform facilitate faster development compared to traditional methods, but it also maintains top-notch quality.

At this stage we’re very satisfied with what has been delivered by Sysbu which have met our requirements and exceeded our expectations. We’re very happy with Sysbu and look forward to continuing our collaborative partnership on future projects.

To create a dashboard system that would: 

• Allow different types of client-users to see business data that related specifically to each type of user. 
• Allow RJB to see overall data for all clients and types of client-user 
• to allow us to pre-emptively monitor and diagnose. 
• Show KPIs in chart form based on much more detailed daily (offline) reports

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• Customizable Charts
• Our initial vision, of how it would appear, visually, was satisfied in an extremely cost-effective manner. Clients have expressed appreciation for the new data available to them. RJB have been able to use the data ourselves to pre-emptively suggest system support actions to our clients - i.e. generates additional work.

Sysbu had effectively delivered the entire solution by their creation of their low-code platform. We then simply used that platform to create our desired solution. There was however some requirement for custom routines, to plug into the dashboard application, which we requested from Sysbu. These were created for us in an extremely timely manner that helped us maintain our project schedule.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The impressive quality, comprehensiveness and power of the Sysbu platform they have created, and its ease of use, which allowed us to build our application in the time-frame we wanted - this indicates an extremely dedicated and talented team. The responsiveness of the Sysbu team to our support and advice requests is also impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Sysbu could have done differently?

Not as far as our experience in this project is concerned, no. We will gladly work with Sysbu again in the future - and indeed have planned upgrades to our dashboard system that will utilize new features that Sysbu are building into the platform.

Most of the work was done offside and remote from the team in Malawi. Communication and monitoring of activities of our Banks team has been challenging. Next time we should put even more efforts on that piece.
