They were timely in communication for the most part. We did have several huge issues during our time together that should have been managed better. If they had been, we likely would have stayed with Surge.

Surge while appearing to be a company, seems to be a collection of 1099 independant contractors working consistently under the owner as a team. Surge Marketing is not a traditional company with full-time employees. This becomes clearly evident in the customer experience as there is a lack of accountability and communication.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Surge Marketing could have done differently?

Managed the tasks better. Kept a focus on the goals. Followed branding and messaging correctly. Complete what was being paid for consistently and on time. We let Surge go after we discovered for over a month and a half, the SEO we had contracted them for, was not being published.

This was after they had managed to disconnect our marketing website domain from our account while doing something as simple as building a landing page, resulting in our website being down. The same website that the landing page existed on for ads.
