I’m the owner of a commercial office cleaning company in Manhattan.

What challenge were you trying to address with Surf Engine Marketing?

I wanted to address our SEO issues. Our site also needed some modifications.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Surf Engine redeveloped my website. It was an extensive remodeling and updating process. I provided some content, but the team also created some of the copy for me. The key updates are dedicated pages to each area we service as well our services themselves. Now, it’s easy for our customers to find exactly what we do for each of our services. Additionally, they also work on digital marketing and SEO, primarily through backlinking and keyword research.

I work with Keira (President).

How did you come to work with Surf Engine Marketing?

Prior to Surf Engine’s founding, Keira worked at another organization I had worked with. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spend around $800–$900 per month.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in December 2018, and it’s still an ongoing relationship.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Surf Engine has been really dedicated to improving my site and making my SEO and digital marketing more efficient. There’s been a dramatic increase in profit since she started working for us — our monthly earnings have increased by $40,000. The volume of new customers has also increased. It’s been a great experience.

How did Surf Engine Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

The project management has been excellent. Surf Engine is very organized and can handle multiple ongoing projects simultaneously, and the team can prioritize which task needs the most attention first. I’m pleased with their time allocation. To communicate, it’s primarily via phone calls. We speak at least once a month to discuss their monthly report of the results they’ve generated and any issues that may have arisen. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their data analysis is impressive. For example, they really go into detail about the conversion of leads to customers and which keywords are performing but not converting. This leads to a much better review of which keywords we should focus on. I also love how layered our website is now in terms of the dedicated pages.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing they could’ve done better.

Explain your business well so Surf Engine could understand and tailor their work to your specific needs.

I work as a freelancer for multiple companies. I create branding, graphics, print and online media, video, marketing, POS, and more. I also do website construction and CRM management.

We needed help with our website SEO. I did not have the time.

A student at our school recommended this business. They came highly recommended and had a great strategy for us.

Surf Engine Marketing was responsible for generating our high SEO ranking. They did this through keywords, landing pages, and social media marketing.

Keira was our main contact and I believe it is her company.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We are at the top of our listings for local martial arts schools in Google searches. We have more foot traffic from our social media ventures.

Keira and I can work simply through email and phone. She is incredibly responsive to my needs and always gets back to me right away.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Keira has an impressive breadth of knowledge about SEO and Google analytics that I just do not have the time to research and study. She had great ideas for how to market programs too.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I have no issues.
