I’m a senior IT consultant for an outsourcing processes company.

What challenge were you trying to address with SupportSages?

We had a lot of challenges with our application. We needed someone to help with AWS cloud migration.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

SupportSages is helping us with AWS cloud migration. We have multiple cloud infrastructures and they’ll be taking over the cloud infrastructure when we complete the movement to AWS.

What is the team composition?

There are around seven people in total. We’re in direct contact with their managing director.

How did you come to work with SupportSages?

We wanted a local vendor who had good experience in AWS cloud. I had a conversation with SupportSages and learned that they have excellent experience in AWS infrastructure. I also had a discussion with one of their clients, and they recommended working with them. Their cost was affordable too.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2020, and the work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

When it comes to the migration part, there are a lot of changes we have to do as a team. We can’t estimate when it’ll be finished. We have around 6–7 servers, and they need to be moved by the end of this year.

How did SupportSages perform from a project management standpoint?

There are multiple channels available to reach them on like Slack, WhatsApp, mobile phone, and email. The managing director is very friendly.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It’s a small matter, but it’d be nice to directly reach the senior management when we want to. We just need to follow their ticketing process. That’s the only gap. They give us a point of contact though. We can directly reach him, and he’ll reach out to management.

Baabte System Technologies Private Limited is an Edtech company that teaches coding for kids through its brand cybersquare.org. We also have a curriculum to teach coding and artificial intelligence in CBSE and British curriculum schools.

For what projects/services did your company hire SupportSages?

During COVID 19, we had to scale up our application and that is when we took help from SupportSages.

What were your goals for this project?

To have a scalable and reliable system for our customers.

How did you select SupportSages?

We selected SupportSages through an interview process. We explained our scenario and they suggested the solution for the problem and we went through the solution and decided to go with SupportSages.

Describe the project in detail.

The project was to implement a scalable architecture for our learning management system application 99LMS.

What was the team composition?

We were mainly working with the manager assigned.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project was implemented in less than a month's time and it was a huge success. The contract was for six months and the work was finished in less than four months' time.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was really good. They were available most of the time for on calls whenever required.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Even though the contract was for 6 months, SupportSages didn't charge us for the last two months as they had finished the work in 4 months' time even though we didn't ask for a discount. Also, they were very concerned with our server costs and always looked for opportunities to reduce our server costs.

Are there any areas for improvement?

On-call support and ticketing system with SLA.

My company is a startup that's been running for three years in the health tech space. We help with inpatient retention for the hospitals with a digital platform. Our kiosk and contactless solutions allow patients to walk into the hospital, attend their appointments, and leave without fear of the pandemic. I'm one of the co-founders, handling things on the tech side.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with SupportSages?

Being a startup, most of our engineers have been doing the core development of the product. Initially, we procured the AWS platform and were only trying to host the application. Since we have a small team, our bandwidth was always too small for both development and hosting. We called on SupportSages, who are really experienced on the DevOps side.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We handed over everything related to hosting and maintaining the server. They've helped us maintain our AWS, and it's been a smooth journey. They manage our servers and help us optimize our cost model. Whenever we need support, they've been very prompt.

What is the team composition?

We've been working with two people.

How did you come to work with SupportSages?

We are based in the same area. Our team used to participate in events organized by AWS, which their CEO was organizing. We met them there and began speaking.

How much have you invested in them?

We've spent around 1.5 Lakhs (approximately $168,700 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

I met them in January 2020, and the work is still ongoing. I'm hoping it will be a long-lasting relationship.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We are planning to put in some metrics in place in the future, but the team is satisfied with their work so far.

They're good at keeping track of the project, but I've mostly been focused on their tech abilities.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They're a skilled team that can solve any tech problem. We can contact them whenever needed, and they come to us with knowledgeable support. Their knowledge is awesome, and I am very thankful for their help.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't have any comments here.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Their team is really good. If you're having deep technical issues, they're the solution. They are also affordable.
