Online medicine ordering app was supposed to help users compare different websites and order accordingly. It started out well but we were facing complaints about irregular performance, poor navigation and payment issues. 

All in one Lite apps platform has 3 apps on Google. We received continuous feedback that forced us to get the online medicine ordering app tested. We hired Suffescom’s remote app developers and testers to go through the app and do a thorough testing. Besides the issues we already had, the team found other bugs that needed professional care.

I had a rough blueprint ready and let the team know of my expectations. Since my services include grooming services, I was sure that my website would involve a lot of graphics and images. So, the team at Suffescom was given the task of building an attractive website that creates a great first impression on the clients.

Now, there were a lot of details involved in the project that had to be looked into. The first was graphics. I created a detailed portfolio of each of my services. I had hired professional photographers to click pictures of my models and clients. I wanted to use those pictures on my website. That’s how my customers will know how good our artists are. So, the template had to be good enough and balance graphics and text. It should display the images without being too overwhelming and have just the right amount of text.

The team considered all the points that I presented in my brief which shows how client-oriented their approach is. Also, based on my own experience, I wanted my website to not be as complicated as most of the modern websites we have today. There were a total of 9 people involved in the project. For the first half of the development process, the developers, designers and the project manager were the ones I was constantly in touch with. They kept me up to date with the progress of the website. The design, the changes, the additions, everything was conveyed to me or my team for the first half of the process. I had a few meetings with the writer too for the content of the website.

I had to make sure they understood the vision and purpose of Cococare Salon. For the second half, the testers started showing up to the meetings more frequently. This went on for some time too because the final project had to be impeccable. So, throughout the website development process, the team member that worked with me directly was the project manager, 2 developers, 2 web designers, 1 graphic designer, 1 content writer, and 2 testers.

I’m glad they decided to involve two developers and designers in my project. Because it kept everything moving forward without any obstructions. It was a wise move for me. All of the team was always involved in the meetings so if there was anything that I wanted to have changed, it was conveyed to the entire team.

The team did deliver more than what was required from them. Since my business is all about grooming services, it is imperative for my clients or potential customers to be able to see what my deliverables are. The more visually appealing my website is, the better it is for my business. From the first meeting I had with the project manager and the rest of the team, I had put this as my number one priority. And throughout the tenure of their service, I was pleased with how focused they were on what I wanted.

Not once did I feel that the direction of the website design and development process was drifting away from what I had explained to this. I think they aligned with my vision from the beginning which made things very easy for all of us. The day I received the final product, I was happy. I used the website for a few days to see if there was anything lacking at any step. But, just as I had expected, the website was just the way I wanted it to be. It’s been a few weeks since they completed my website and I’m getting positive feedback already.

I have had clients complimenting me about the website design. There were some customers who clearly told me that they contacted the salon because they were impressed with the display on the website. Right off the bat, I think the team composition was intelligently handled. There were 2 designers and 2 developers working on my project. Now, generally, companies use 1 resource per profile. But the choice of having 2 of each made sure that the work didn’t stop. In the absence of one, the other could easily handle the tasks.

So, the flow was maintained throughout. The team had an intense excel sheet with details of all the daily tasks along with deadlines. It was created in the first week of me hiring them. The team maintained it which kept me up to date about the progress. In addition to this, there was constant communication between me and the team. It was generally using Skype and Google Meet. At times, I would come up with ideas in the middle of the day and convey them to the PM. He was always responsive, which is another level of professionalism. Other than that, there were fixed bi-weekly meetings with the team over a video call.

The project manager informed the agenda of the team to me ahead of time which helped me be ready with questions or any suggestions. Overall, I would say that the team was organized. Everything was updated in a timely manner which also led to the delivery of the website within the agreed-upon timeline. The communication was on point. So, great job.

Not once did they leave me wondering about anything. Whether it was communication or the development process, I did not have to question anything. All my doubts were cleared immediately and the project manager was proactive enough to reply to all my queries in time. I have worked with other companies before and they would often respond a few days after the query was pointed out. It creates a restless feeling which also affects the confidence of the client in the hired company.

These always stood out for me as a negative point. I found Suffescom to be especially good in this regard. The activeness of the team is impressive. They basically made me believe that there could be no better company than theirs for my website. And it wasn’t a hollow pride. They were experts. I had a designer with me throughout the meeting and he pointed out that the team is good and worth the money. Another impressive aspect of the team was their confidence.

From the designer to the tester, everyone was confident about their work. From the first meeting, the team was nodding heads to all my requirements and came up with ideas for the same. And in case there was something that I wanted to be done differently, I would always hear a confident ‘yes’. And well, they did deliver everything too.

My name is Ryan Leblanc and I am the Manager of the company. My platform is home to exclusive painting collections and products, including Royal brushes, Watercolor brushes, Acrylic paints, Spray paints, Pop art, etc. The lover of Traci Schuster's Art collection can find some amazing collections done by her. My website acts as a soul for all the artists and painters out there. We have all the equipment related to painting as described. With the products available, painters can add value to their paintings that may attract millions of souls.

I was looking for a company with the motive of getting services to design, develop, and market my website so that I can begin my business and provide all the painting essentials and paintings to a broader audience. With a broader vision in my mind, I was very keen to have my own website where customers can buy paintings and related products under one roof.

And, this vision put me on the hunt for an efficient and highly skilled website development company that will listen to my requirements, understand them, and can also give suggestions for improvement. I was looking for a company that may give all the services in a single package including designing, developing, testing, maintenance, support, and any ad hocs. I wanted my website with appealing designs that would look completely different from the other that is already in the market.

Talking about the selection process, in brief, I was eagerly looking for a firm with prior experience in developing similar websites. I was in search of a team who would be having thorough knowledge about the latest tools and technologies like which language would be best, what frameworks would work and all. Though I was having clear ideas about my website, I was in search of a partner that may suggest me the best for my Paintingdeck website.

But, nothing met my expectations. When I was about to lose hope, I shared my requirement with one of my friends who also has his own multiple websites in different niches. Due to the fact that my company is focusing on exciting painting essentials, I wanted my website to have a high-quality resolution. The company used the latest technologies like HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, PHP, and Figma to build my website. They came up with a special layout for my website, and they constantly cleared their queries. Once I started talking to them to help them understand my expectations, they were outstanding at following each stage of the development process.

The business assigned a well-trained crew with past expertise in the same technology to work on my website. I was thus somewhat glad that it didn't take long to explain things to them. While communicating with the company for my business requirements, I found all of the team members were aware of the latest technologies. When the project began, I spoke to every team member, and I thought they were all polite and knowledgeable.

I had regular conversations with the project manager to lay out the project's scope and mission. Thus, there were fewer misunderstandings, and if ever necessary, the team member in question arranged a call with me for a better understanding. The development team consisted of 5 people: 1 developer, 1 designer, a tester, a writer, and a project manager. Everyone on the team and I had a cordial chat.

The crew was enthusiastic and totally committed to my project. They gave me some excellent suggestions, which I used to update a few of my website's features. I must state that the team members all understood technology and knew how to improve processes.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

They delivered an impeccable website to me with all the required features. I’m satisfied with the results. One of the most important things that I wanted on my website was the images of my paintings. I had been very clear about being able to display my work on all pages of the website. They chose a template accordingly and created a beautiful layout. It’s easy for me to keep updating the pictures according to the occasion or any special promotions.

I was very particular about maintaining simple navigation too. I had come across websites that would confuse me about where to go and how to find the services. The navigation was too complicated for me. So, I had been clear that the user interface for my website should be easy enough for people of all ages and backgrounds. And they delivered exactly what I had asked them to. They stayed in touch with me throughout the project and awaited my approval for even the slightest changes or additions.

I was happy about it because I’m very picky about things and it would’ve cost them time and effort to go through something that I did not like. Their sole motive is to satisfy the client to the fullest. This is the thing about them that I highly appreciate. Ever since my website was deployed, the general outcome was a rise in the number of leads. I was even able to have better sales than what I used to before. It definitely increased the exposure to my business among more quality clients.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

The project was handled gracefully by the assigned project manager. He built a team of experts for my project and managed everything. He was my primary point of communication with the rest of the team. The first thing I’d like to point out is the level of communication managed by the team. I’m not sure the level of organization involved at their level but I never felt out of the loop.

I was up to date with the progress, and all short term goals were delivered within the deadline. Even when I was reading about the company, it was mentioned several times by their previous clients that the team is good at maintaining communication. I can be another one supporting this aspect. The team was constantly on Skype and was quick to reach Zoom for any last minute meetings. With Suffescom, meetings were regular or happened at least twice a week.

The Manager invited me to a few minutes meetings, weekly meetings, and scrum meetings to keep track of the project and inform me about all proceedings. It was a productive step because I could understand the mindset of the developers and give my input there and then in case I wanted to add or subtract something. I had also asked them to prepare an excel sheet and send it to me at the end of every week.

This helped me make sure that all tasks were completed on time and that there were no unnecessary delays. The team was very particular about these reports and they were delivered to me every week, on time.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

As I already mentioned, the “client-focused” nature of the company impressed me a lot. They take the projects as responsibility, work passionately, and deliver within deadlines. The whole team of Suffescom Solutions is supportive. They care for their clients and deliver top-quality services to them. I opted to schedule a consultation to go over the requirements of the project.

I had never spoken with the team in person before. They were highly knowledgeable and professional, in my opinion. As soon as I had finished describing what I needed, they got to work discussing options and ideas. The team was very interested in what I had in mind and was adding to it. There was a healthy discussion that took place during the consultation. The developers were pooling in the possible software that can help and the project manager was noting down everything and giving other inputs which I thought was great.

I was pleased by the initiative. We also talked about the project's anticipated cost in addition to everything else. It was significantly less expensive than other options I had contacted. The overall estimation turned out to be well within my budget. All of these things left a lasting impression on me. I had worked with other companies on different projects and never had I seen such healthy involvement.

Even though they were providing their input, they made sure that my ideas were within the loop and included in the entire design and development process. So, they really are client focused which is a great thing for any business owner.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

My overall experience with Suffescom has been great. I’m happy with the results and found their services to be well worth the money. However, there is one piece of suggestion that I would like to leave for the company. My project involved one developer only. I think they decided to go this way because of the requirements of the project. But, since it was 1 developer handling the project needs, his absence created a slight inconvenience.

There was one time that I was having issues with the lead form and conveyed the problem to the project manager. The developer wasn’t available at the moment which did create a little delay. It happened only once throughout the tenure of their services. But yes, it is something that can be looked into. I believe the best way to ensure that this kind of delay doesn’t happen in the future is by making 2 developers work on one project.

This way at least the second developer can handle the immediate requirements in the absence of the first. Again, I do believe that the team at Suffescom handled the project very well. This is something that I believe can help them improve the scope of their services.
