Studio1642 delivered the site in roughly two months, meeting every milestone on time. The team enabled the client to manage their site independently, thanks to Studio1642's CMS. Moreover, Studio1642 led a seamless process, was responsive, and delivered a site aligned with the client's requirements.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.
Studio1642 was engaged to design and build our new corporate website on Webflow, working from a written scope document and detailed page specifications we provided. The engagement ran in defined phases, from a discovery and kickoff phase through design, build, review, and launch. Key deliverables included the complete design and build of the full site: a home page, company and leadership pages, an approach and services section, a contract vehicles page, a solutions section, a news section, a careers page, and a contact page. They implemented the news section on Webflow CMS so our internal staff can publish and manage content without a developer, and integrated the careers page with our external applicant tracking system. They migrated content from our legacy platform, built each page to the specifications we supplied, and incorporated revisions from our internal review cycles, including a mid-project restructuring of one core section of the site. At launch they handled the technical cutover: connecting our domain, provisioning SSL, and transitioning us off the legacy platform entirely. They also supported handoff to our internal team, including CMS walkthroughs and documentation, so that content ownership moved in house after go live. The finished product was a fully owned, self-managed site that replaced a vendor-dependent legacy platform.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The clearest measure was speed to launch. The site went from kickoff to a completed build in roughly two months, and every project milestone along the way was met on schedule. The launch date itself moved only for reasons on our side, an internal review and clearance process, never because of the vendor. The second measure was the transfer of ownership. Before this project, every content change on our site went through an outside vendor. Today our internal team publishes and manages content independently through the CMS Studio1642 built, which was a core success criterion for the engagement. The handoff was completed shortly after launch and our staff have been operating the site without developer support since. Finally, the site passed a demanding internal gauntlet. The finished product was reviewed against documented requirements by our executive team and tested with both candidate and customer audiences before launch, and it was approved for go live without rework of the underlying build. For a firm in a compliance-sensitive industry, getting from proposal to a fully approved public launch in a single quarter was the outcome that mattered most.
Full link audit closed with zero dead links across navbar, footer, and body. Every call to action resolves to a live destination.
Content updates that previously required a developer now take minutes. The client team manages news, blog, and author records directly through the CMS, supported by a narrated video guide covering 8 editing workflows.
Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?
Project management was one of the strongest parts of the engagement. They set up a clear phase structure before work began, put their answers to our questions about phasing and timeline in writing, and then delivered against that structure without slippage. Every milestone on their side was met on time. The only schedule movement in the entire project came from our own internal review and clearance process, and they absorbed those pauses without losing momentum. Responsiveness was exceptional from the first interaction, when they returned a complete proposal the same day as our introductory call, and it never dropped off. We had direct access to their Design Director throughout, questions were answered quickly and in plain language, and revisions came back fast. When I was traveling mid-project, they kept working and proactively flagged the open items that needed my attention, so nothing sat waiting on a status meeting. They were equally good under change. We restructured a core section of the site partway through the build, and they incorporated it cleanly without renegotiation or delay. They built precisely to the page specifications we provided, tracked open items transparently through launch, and ran the final cutover smoothly. I never had to chase them for anything, which for a project on an accelerated timeline is the highest compliment I can give a vendor.
What was your primary form of communication with Studio1642?
Virtual Meeting
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Two things stood out. The first was their speed without shortcuts. They returned a complete, thoughtfully scoped proposal the same day as our first call, and that pace held for the entire project. Revisions came back quickly, questions were answered the day they were asked, and the build itself finished in about two months. Plenty of vendors are fast at the start and slow by the middle. Studio1642 was fast the whole way through. The second, and the one I found most unique, was how well they handled substance. We are a federal services firm in a compliance-sensitive industry, and our source material was dense with terminology that most designers would either copy verbatim or strip out entirely. Studio1642 did neither. They asked sharp questions, worked carefully from the materials we gave them, respected the constraints on what could and could not appear publicly, and translated all of it into a clean, modern site that still gets the substance right. The finished pages read like they were built by people who understood the business, not just the brief. I would also note the value of working with a small senior team. Our primary contact was their Design Director from the first call to launch, so nothing was lost in handoffs and every conversation happened with someone who could make decisions
Are there any areas for improvement or something Studio1642 could have done differently?
Nothing significant. Any open items at launch were minor, clearly documented, and closed out quickly. I would work with them again without hesitation and have already recommended them internally.
