What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Clients (that were pretty intense and difficult) were happy with the outcome! Studio Yes were amazingly patient and helped me along the way to ensure we were delivery on time, providing realistic advise and meeting our standards in communications which we expect from vendors and agencies we work with.

They were really hands on and even communicated with us out of hours to ensure we met certain deadlines. Some things were delayed which were inevitable due to the client taking longer to review and delaying feedback. Overall, they worked well with our team and were really quick with their responses.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

When one of the main contacts was away they had other team members step in to take the project to the finishing line. Previously this would have been a messy process but they did not let that effect the communication or work. All members of their company were easy to talk to and good at listening to our needs and spoke very positively providing us with confidence.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Studio Yes could have done differently?

They definitely had some buffer and accomadated well to our clients whom delayed feedback quite a bit. I think it would be helpful to have designers or video editors on stand by to pick up something same day (with extra cost of course!) as there was quite a bit of back and forth with clients drip feeding. This particular project was a unique one so I fully understand the delay in this case.

We enlisted Studio Yes and Director Kyle Shephard to bring our mockumentary-style film scripts to life. They arranged and co-ordinated a large proportion of the shoot operations, from custom prop design to talent sourcing, as well as the many logistics involved in a Cornwall based shoot. They also managed the post-production edit, delivering a hero film and a social cut-down in several dimensions.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our short-film has won two Lovie Awards, and our overall campaign has been shortlisted for a The Drum award in the Social Media: Social Film division. Our campaign resulted in an 11% uplift in sales and sampling over the campaign period for our client and the paid social media campaign resulted in 21million impressions and a click through rate of 1.9% (twice Meta's industry average).

They also loved the script as much as our client and we did, meaning we had an aligned sense of priorities throughout the project.

Their comedy specialism was essential in bringing our creative team's vision to life. They weren't there to just make a film, they were there to make the best film possible. But ultimately, they were brilliant people to work with, meaning they felt like an extension of ours and the client's team.

Overall, everything was great with Studio Yes, we have no complaints.

The team did a great job of delivering a truly high impact and unique campaign for us, that successfully won the funding in the competition we were participating in. Everything was very well organised for the actual shoot itself - the attention to detail was truly incredible as there were a LOT of moving parts, and lots of resourcefulness was required to make it actually happen. Plus we needed everything to be as sustainable as possible, which added another dimension to the challenge!

We did a discovery phase together—shared our branding stuff, talked about what we wanted for recruitment, and showed them anything we already had that represented our culture. Then Studio Yes created scripts and storyboards for the videos and voiceovers. Once we were on the same page with the creative direction, they brought it all to life. They picked visuals and voice actors that fit our vibe perfectly. In the end, we got four amazing videos with everything—audio, visuals, the works.
