The project goal was to deliver a market leading interface for the design of reinforcing steel that effortlessly incorporates our wide range of products for the most challenging structural design applications. It involved a comprehensive requirement-gathering phase, followed by the development of a bespoke Tekla plugin and several refinement cycles based on user testing. Key functionalities included a user-friendly interface for selecting rebar components, customizable product code display based on selections, and the capability to manage multiple configurations and country-specific requirements. From the inception, the Stridely team kept me fully engaged and appraised of their plans, requirements and progress with regards to the project. They were efficient with their communication – ensuring all key members of the project team were available for check-ins, and were communicating proactively at all times. The teams roles were well defined, and resources bolstered as needed. Most importantly there was pragmatism towards achieving milestones and identifying potential roadblocks along the way, that ultimately ensured timely delivery of the project.

Stridely Solutions deserves several adjectives, like professional, organized, knowledgeable, creative, and accountable. Their most important attributes are their willingness to improve their product, service, and capabilities. There is a culture of growth in all aspects.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Stridely Solutions could have done differently?

One area where I can see Stridely improving – is the “packaging” or aesthetic quality of the technology they publish. This is equally the responsibility of their client to ensure and in many cases will be dictated by brand guidelines, but my advice to the team would be to develop a “Design Language” that is unique and recognizable as Stridely. Making it easy to use will ensure customer satisfaction. Making it easy on the eye will ensure customer delight!

Developing and integrating several key functionalities to enhance EACs digitization process and user experience. 

An Identity and Access Management (IAM) system will be developed to facilitate user access authorization and rights management, integrated with selected third-party IAM tools, such as Azure. A EAC Wallet will be created using custom code for secure transaction management. Integration with a EAC Trading Platform will be executed via API. 

Additionally, a user-friendly web platform will be integrated, allowing customers to access essential features and details. Payment gateway integration will facilitate secure processing, while custom code will be written for device registration, ensuring that employee and customer data is securely stored and integrated with related systems.

End to end business management functionality with the best subset of manufacturing capabilities of any system we looked at.

We found Stridely through a referral from an organization that had previously worked with them and witnesses good success.

With the help of Stridely, we implemented Microsoft Dynamics Ax. They completed the implementation in five months and we were able to replace the majority of the custom applications, representing more than 200 hours of coding work, with standard functionality in Microsoft Dynamics AX. We took advantage of the application Integration Framework to quickly link its legacy CRM system with Microsoft Dynamics AX while improving the connectivity between these two systems.

What was the team composition?

Around 15 people were working in a team, including a dedicated project manager. We had a point of contact for each part of the project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We almost eliminated 300 hours worth of custom code. On the first day of Microsoft Dynamics AX in production, the company’s daymark division handled 750 orders, a 40 percent increase over the company’s typical daily order volume.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We were following the waterfall approach to project management, this helped us to provide feedback and influence the pace of development throughout the entire process. They were always flexible in terms of priority work for certain features. We communicated through email, phone, and teleconferences. They were quick in clearing up any uncertainties.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They impressed us with the quality of their work. They had a huge experience in Microsoft Dynamics. During the initiation phase, I only had to explain to the developer once. During the month's time, they have completed two times as much work as our previous vendor at a minimal cost. We are immensely satisfied with Stridely's work.

There is no area for improvement. They did a good job of managing our needs.

Before we deployed SAP B1 to our system, our existing software was about to get expired wherein it was no longer supporting to our business. The solution was no longer capable of completing key tasks and the one that could interrupt daily processes if it failed. Not only this the solution did not provide integration to the data warehouse - giving no visible results into our existing stock levels.

So, we evaluated SAP Business One, Sage Line 200 and NetSuite to best fit our growing business. Also comparing the finance/ERP system for the SME market, SAP B1 stood out amongst all. And for SAP B1 implementation, there is not other better option than Stridely.

What were your goals for this project?

A clear visibility to our stocks along with the key financial and profit information in real-time without the need of manual co-ordination and excess spreadsheets.

How did you select this vendor?

Stridely was recommended to us in one of the business meetups at Florida, by one of our owner's friend. We called them and checked some of their work references and found it was all good. We then laid out our plans and then we decided to start a long-term collaboration.

Stridely developed a wholesale and distribution solution that simplified the overall process. Definitely, spreadsheets are no longer required by our line managers, in fact the timely information helps our staff to stay up-to-date with the market prices and the insights to allows decision makers to maximize buying power.

Moreover, Stridely also implemented B1 Surfer Enterprise for the field base sales representatives and transport teams. This has reduced the number of calls to offices from the field representatives and also provides instant access to centralized data on customer records and the ability to process new opportunities and sales quotes remotely and also check stock levels.

Project Manager was the main point of contact, though we had several dedicated resources. The number varied depending on the stage of the project.

We have maximized the buying power by 10x and also the B1 surfer enterprise solution has reduced the monetary costs by 30%. And not to miss we can now instantly access to the financial and productivity reports.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Stridely shared daily status updates, task timelines through email and any additional communication was taken care of over skype calls. We've developed a good rapport with many people from their company. They were extremely accessible and we never felt like we were working overseas. If I need to talk to someone, I can count them to be available.

They are both casual and a lot more professional. We've established the long term friendships that go beyond IT support!

We hired Stridely to help standardize the IT infrastructure into the Microsoft environment.

Stridely’s detailed layout became integral to the intranet’s development plan. Centralizing the documentation facilitated seamless cross-departmental interaction within the first month after deployment. The improved accessibility to highly personalized content, applications, and more has increased reliability, productivity, and uptime while virtually eliminating slowdowns and bottlenecks. The system is user friendly, promotes smarter decisions, and keeps our IT overhead low.

Our project manager made the data maintenance process very transparent and met with us regularly.
