I’m the founder and CEO of Apeironix, Inc, an insurance automation company. We reduce and eliminate mundane tasks in the insurance industry by taking unstructured data and structuring it to do three key things. We extract information from disparate documents, PDFs, and other resources. We use that information to hydrate agency management systems and CRMs in the insurance industry. Then, we apply automation to streamline the movement of information and complete tasks or processes that eliminate mundane work, amplifying and empowering agents to be more efficient and streamline their processes.

What challenge were you trying to address with Streaver?

We needed help creating a self-service portal for other firms, agencies, or companies to use our language models. We had already begun training our own language models and AI to understand insurance terminology and solve our problems. We weren't planning on sharing and making available to the market the solutions we solved for our own company using AI. Still, we started getting so many questions from people who knew what we were doing.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Streaver has designed and developed our web platform. Our initial engagement began with a pilot scope that focused on frontend integration and early API adoption models. As the platform matured, the models multiplied, and we started to incorporate different solutions.

The initial project had a small scope, and it has since accelerated through internal investment, as well as funding from outside investors who have come to support this project. Streaver has provided a dedicated team, which operates in synchronized cycles with our leadership.

Streaver has architected and implemented an AWS-based integration backbone. They're linking our Salesforce CRM, our internal small language and large language models, and our AWS infrastructure. The system coordinates job creation, API gateway authentication, Lambda task orchestration, and S3-based file lifecycle management, which is the core engine powering our automation capabilities.

We've completed the first phase of our project, and we've transitioned from prototype to MVP, beta testing, and proof of ROI and time savings for our pilot agencies, to whom we've given early access to the platform. Now, we've entered the pre-launch and self-service portal release phase. From there, we'll continue to expand the portal's modules and solutions, as well as the product portfolio.

What is the team composition?

We have at least three full-time software engineers dedicated exclusively to the project. We also have an account manager, a CTO, a VP of engineering, a designer, and a support engineering team. 

How did you come to work with Streaver?

A consulting firm we engaged with in the US had a great experience with Streaver and referred them to us. We discussed our needs with Streaver regarding the development of a platform, and we engaged with them to explore what we needed to build.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Streaver in Q1 2025, and our partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Streaver has built our core automation layer for insurance, which is a cloud-based system that extracts, compares, rates, and reconciles data across our agency management systems, CRM, and accounting platforms. Since launching the self-service portal, we've empowered agencies and clients to manage automation modules via API keys and data mapping, eliminating the need for development or intervention on their teams.

Customers coming onto the platform have reduced and saved time in their organizations by over 80% through policy data extraction and hydrating their agency management systems with the data we've extracted.

Our language model does a lot of the heavy lifting, but Streaver has built the self-service portal to give anyone else immediate access who signs up to utilize these tools on day one without any development intervention. It's easy for them to onboard and start using the tools and seeing the value within their organizations.

From there, we move to an integrated solution, where they won't have to use the portal to integrate its capabilities into their own agency management systems. We'll use Streaver for that portion for customers who want to integrate completely into their own tools.

How did Streaver perform from a project management standpoint?

Streaver has delivered work on time and on budget. We've been really impressed because we've kept throwing ideas at Streaver's team. As we've seen some competitors enter the marketplace with early solutions, we've examined their approaches and made adjustments to our solution before going to market. That has caused some delays, but only because we want to wait until some of those enhancements are done.

Streaver has handled the extra work and additional requests amazingly. What could have taken an average organization another 6–12 months of change work, Streaver has quickly done it. We've pushed our launch out. We were going to launch in September 2025, but we weren't ready by then.

Since we wanted to incorporate some enhancements, we launched in November 2025. That has been a massive win for us because we've been able to improve our product before going to market without having to wait very much time to implement those changes.

We use Google Docs and emails. We have weekly virtual status update meetings with 10–12 teammates from Streaver's team to ensure we're on top of any blockers, progress, and results of each sprint. Communication is perfect; it's not too much, but it's the right amount.

Sometimes, you can spend too much time in meetings, but we haven't had that problem. We haven't felt like we're paying developers to sit around and listen to a meeting. Streaver has used our investment productively.

We use Microsoft products and Microsoft Teams. We haven't set up an instant message channel because we don't need it. We do everything via email or virtual meetings.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We've told Streaver that one of the areas we'd like to see is providing them with some assistance and giving them some resources. Insurance has its own language and terminology. Sometimes, it's challenging to introduce concepts to developers who are unfamiliar with insurance.

We've provided the team with one of our training modules for a new producer or account manager in the insurance industry. We've provided them a seat license, and Streaver is using it to train their staff to understand our industry to a greater degree so that we can shorten the development time.

Going from concept to build, there isn't the regular transfer of knowledge needed at the beginning of a build. It'll take 6–12 months for someone to learn what we need them to learn about insurance so they can be better partners, build more solutions, and add to our product portfolio faster.

Streaver is very flexible and willing to take that suggestion and implement it because they understand it could increase the value of our partnership.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

As a customer, it helps if you have some understanding of technology and the architecture of what's being built. I've learned a lot just by being on the calls. I'm not an engineer or software developer; I'm an insurance specialist, advisor, and consultant.

Still, I've been willing to learn and not just rely on Streaver to tell me what they're presenting. I've asked questions about whether there's a different way to do things because I'm aware of the possibilities for various solutions that could be implemented in development and design.

We've ended up with a better product than we initially envisioned because we took the initiative to be part of the process and asked numerous questions during the development calls. If I don't understand something, I'm not afraid to speak up and ask them to explain it in simple terms. Once I understand it, I can ask questions that help the developers create a different way of solving the problem or building the structure.

It's been a lot of collaboration, but because we've taken the initiative to know and understand what's being built, we know what the UX should be. My advice to anyone wanting to engage with Streaver is that you'll need to be involved. Streaver won't build your vision as well as it could be unless you're part of the process.

I'm the director of programs at Pittsburgh Robotics Network, an economic development nonprofit that oversees the deep tech ecosystem in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania region. We help robotics, AI, and other deep tech companies commercialize.

We needed help with web application development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Streaver is a contractor we use for various web applications. Most of their work revolves around building our membership platform and tracking our deliverables to our member organizations. The team has built everything from scratch and is responsible for design and development.

Streaver has built a membership management platform that tracks how members interact and engage with our network. Users can view a global directory of members and understand the deliverables we must give our members based on the service fees they pay. We have roughly 30 deliverables we might provide to any particular member, including newsletter inclusion, social media posts, and invoices.

Tracking where we are in our obligations on a member-to-member basis becomes complicated. On the frontend, there's a dashboard for our members to log in and see where they are in their membership cycle, how much they've paid, and which invoices they have outstanding.

Streaver relies on Vercel, an AI frontend framework, which allows them to do a more advanced job of continuous deployment. On the backend, the team uses PostgreSQL, React on the frontend, and Java on the middle layer. Hosting is done on AWS, and the domain is on Hover.com.

What is the team composition?

We work with five teammates from Streaver, including their CEO, Fabián; Caterina, a designer; Juan, a senior developer; Agustín, who assisted Juan; and Federico, Streaver's CTO.

How did you come to work with Streaver?

I had a previous relationship with Streaver when I was in different organizations, so I reengaged them when I joined Pittsburgh Robotics Network.

How much have you invested with them?

We've spent around $85,000 on this project. We have another project with them of around $10,000 more.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in January 2025, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I've built web apps for many years and have experience with various vendors. Streaver is among the best regarding communication, hitting their scope of work, and doing so promptly.

The team has been very accommodating. We've experienced some issues, but the team is eager to resolve them and owns the problems that may arise. They've also done fairly and equitably in their invoicing, accounting for the time on task.

How did Streaver perform from a project management standpoint?

Streaver runs a rigorous and effective project uptake process. We spend a lot of time on the scope of work and document it in writing. We ensure all stakeholders clearly understand what the deliverables will be.

The team delivers on milestones outlined in the scope of work through an agile methodology. We have weekly check-in calls with our project manager and larger stakeholder calls as needed to ensure the project is on time and in line with expectations.

Streaver has met deadlines, and we're only out of budget by about $20,000. They've put in work in-kind, realizing they have some responsibility for us being out of budget.

We use Notion as our primary project management tool and communicate via Slack. Streaver has it hooked up with an AI application that's proprietary to them and in the marketplace called DamasAI. It taps the appropriate person at Streaver if they have subject matter expertise. If the person doesn't have the capacity, the team proactively taps another person to do a particular task.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The most impressive thing about Streaver is that they deliver features on time. Provided we give them the proper specifications, they build to spec.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The team could provide more real-time updates on costs and budgets, especially when allocating tasks. It's always tricky to price out features ahead of time, but there are grounds for them to improve on providing pricing upfront and giving that to the client as the client requests additional features.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Streaver is one of the top agencies I've worked with. The numbers bear that out; five years ago, they had about five people, and now they have over 40 staff members.

Streaver's growth supports the thesis that they're a well-run agency delivering excellent value for their customers. I also know Streaver has other clients who have worked with them for five years or more.

The back office provides us with an intuitive platform to monitor interactions, analyze user data, and refine the chatbot's responses based on real-time insights.

We were trying to enhance our cybersecurity, and most importantly, we wanted to enhance our internal IT processes regarding program development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Streaver has helped us with our cybersecurity. In the first phase of the project, their team came in and started reviewing how we did things in our company. They took notes of our vulnerabilities, inefficiencies, and areas of improvement. Once they did the assessment, they delivered a report with their major findings and suggestions to move forward.

For the second phase of the project, Streaver is helping us with the implementation of all their suggestions. Their team is working on the project remotely.

We work with Federico (CTO) and Agustín (Full Stack Developer). They've worked for us throughout the entire process.

A colleague and former roommate of mine contacted me one time, and we started talking about what he was doing. He was working for Streaver, and we thought that we could probably find some uses for their services. Basically, it was word of mouth.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Although it's too soon to see results, Streaver's work has been very good and of great quality so far. We've just started to identify problems, so we're now working on solving them.

How did Streaver perform from a project management standpoint?

Streaver offers great communication, and they're pushing a lot more than we can give, which is good. Moreover, they've been great at both staying on time and on budget. They've provided a general budget, and we haven't gone over that budget, which is very good. The engineers use Slack to communicate, and I communicate with their team using WhatsApp.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

Both Federico and Agustín have done a great job. Federico is very smart and has great communication skills. Although I haven't worked a lot with Agustín, I know that he's a good developer and has done his job very well.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They're a very good company and provide great service.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There's nothing I would have Streaver to improve on.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Be ready to immerse into the project. In our case, we were initially so busy that we couldn't pull all the resources necessary to make it even better. Although everything has gone well thus far, Streaver has asked a lot of questions, and we haven't been able to keep up.

I’m the director of operations of an architects membership organization. We serve architects in the US and worldwide; we have chapters in different countries.

We have a technology department that produces different digital products. I currently oversee any product that is in the maintenance phase. I ensure they’re up and running. If any issues arise, I ensure a developer is assigned and working on fixing it.

We needed help maintaining the products we launched.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Streaver is our operational partner. They take care of our products and website in the maintenance phase. Initially, we provided documentation from the previous development team. Streaver went in and learned about the products. In fact, the handoff wasn’t when the last team was there; Streaver came in, saw the assets, and went forward.

The key technologies are for full stack development, so Streaver works on Angular, Ember, and JavaScript. All our applications are on the AWS front, so Streaver is also familiar with AWS.

They do many API integrations because the products are in AWS or  Salesforce, so the integration component plays a major role. Additionally, Streaver takes care of our main website and the data integrations with other non-AWS sites.

What is the team composition?

We currently have three and a half resources assigned to our project.

How did you come to work with Streaver?

My old manager got a referral from the previous vendor because the vendor had to leave. They recommended a couple of companies, and we got Streaver.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in February 2022, and our relationship is ongoing. Our products are still operational, and Streaver takes care of them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We wanted to develop a part in Drupal for one of our projects. However, we had to keep the Ember site in conjunction with the Drupal site. Streaver developed a model wherein the two sites could work in parallel, but the end user wouldn’t see that they were two different sites.

Streaver took this work as a challenge and delivered it on time. They finished it in about 45 days, which was a good measure of success. Other than that, I can’t share metrics because they’re confidential within our department. 

How did Streaver perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been able to meet deadlines and stay within budget. We mainly communicate through Microsoft Teams and emails. For management, we use Atlassian products, such as Jira and Confluence.

During site outages, they’re always available for us. We can count on them, even if it’s the end of the day. Sometimes they might’ve already logged out, but if I send them a message, they see it and come online to troubleshoot the problem.

Moreover, Streaver is always capable of identifying the root cause. Since our websites talk to different technologies like Salesforce and Drupal, their architecture is pretty complex. Streaver’s root-cause analysis is exceptional, considering they didn’t develop the sites. Nonetheless, they understand the architecture and can pinpoint the applications causing the problem. Then, they chat and help solve the issue. They'll be on the call even if it’s a Drupal issue.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The best thing about Streaver is that it’s not only one resource working well; everyone works collaboratively. I can’t pick and choose the best developer among them because anytime I go in for anything, they’re able to answer, fix it, or go into the weeds to look into it.

The products Streaver manages for us aren’t the ones they developed. Other development partners built them, and Streaver picked them up after they left. Although they didn’t program the products, they care for them and ensure they run correctly. Even when a developer goes on vacation, the next developer can pick it up from where the other left it. They cross-train the team well and constantly share knowledge among their members.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there’s nothing to improve in particular.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

We’ve been very transparent; we tell them what we need upfront, and they understand it. Moreover, they sometimes go above and beyond. If you give them a problem statement, they’ll be able to get it. Even if you just provide them with an overview, Streaver will go in-depth, do their analysis, and come back with it.

We needed to advance our development roadmap and evolve the product with the correct framework and technologies.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Streaver provides remote development services for our company. We had an initial discovery kick-off call to understand the project's goals and deliver a particular feature that was important to develop in our selective short period of time. Streaver uses React Native for development. The team doesn't work on design but identifies design issues or roadblocks for me to bring back to my design team.

I worked most closely with 2–4 teammates from the team, and I also worked with Santiago (Software Developer), Martin (Full-Stack Developer), Gaston (Software Developer), and Guillermo (Chief Growth Officer).

Streaver is resourceful and quick to implement new developments. The team has studied our product's code and is instrumental in creating momentum for our company's growth. Streaver delivers good quality work and functional products, resolving bugs quickly. 

How did Streaver perform from a project management standpoint?

Streaver meets deadlines and plans projects using Agile methodology. The team works in sprints and has a quick and casual communication style with the client via WhatsApp voice notes, daily updates, and screen shares. My communication style is very casual, and the team has responded with light and transparent communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I'm mostly impressed by Streaver's approach to working on products they're passionate about. The team is really involved and cares about what they're building, strengthening our idea and suggesting alternatives. If the development team likes and is passionate about the product, it will come up in their performance and deliverables.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Streaver is an expensive company, especially since we're located in Canada, and they're in the US. Our exchange rate is considerable, and it would be great if Streaver could adjust to the global economy. However, their rate is fair.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

I recommend having open communication with Streaver and sharing visual references that help them work better. I also suggest sharing constructive and positive feedback so the team can improve and perform better.

We’re a fintech startup in the AI-infused loan industry. I’m the VP of engineering. We are looking to automate processes across the board, using technology to empower our customers and serve the financial industry by lowering the cost of capital.

In American finance, everything is incredibly slow. If you apply for any kind of credit for a business transaction or a home mortgage, it takes weeks and even months to secure financing. We’re directly attacking this lengthy process.

What challenge were you trying to address with Streaver?

This was a custom software development project.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

This project required new thinking and technology, as well as the implementation of best-practice standards from the ground up to make sure we didn’t get off on the wrong foot.

Right now, they’re working in Python and various forms of JavaScript. Their firm is specialized in Ruby development as well, a skillset they’ve gained during our project.

The software is designed to automate our internal operations by replacing manual processes and rationalizing where work gets done to provide a faster flow in terms of customer onboarding and day-to-day customer operations.

We have four senior software developers working with us right now; they all have an architectural background.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The software is being built and deployed incrementally. From the first month users came on board, feedback has been very positive. They feel very much involved in the process of the technology development. There’s great coordination and communication, which is usually a strong indicator of success.

How did Streaver perform from a project management standpoint?

On-time delivery and communication are givens with Streaver. It’s their standard, baseline behavior. They do what they say they’re going to do, and more, on time.

As we’re an agile organization, we don’t speak every day; the scrum process we run is self-organizing. I occasionally speak with a few of their managers, as well as their owner.

What did you find most impressive about them?

One of the things that makes them unusually good is that they care about doing a high-quality job. They take intrinsic pride in their work and in being good partners, which is unusual in my experience. They’re predictable and reliable in a good sense.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not particularly. I did have to wait a bit to access some resources, as they didn’t have people on standby, but they’re very selective about who they employ. I can’t fault them for that, however.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend them without reservations. The more you involve them in your business, the more context they’ll have around what you do. Streaver always behaves with integrity.
