I am the founder and designer behind a new kind of social inter-reality game and metaverse. The guys at Streakbyte have been invaluable in helping me get the beta on the appstore and are now working on the rebuild of the of the backend in NodeJS that had been started by another company in PHP. They are humble and diligent and patient to understand the complexities of the project even when I am making on the fly changes.

The guys were recommended because my game's front end is in Unity and uses AR/VR but also has an extensive database / CRM structure and they ad the skillset to handle both sides of the project cohesively.

The guys actually came through another company that I had started working with that were having a hard time allocating resources and completing the tasks. That company was kind enough to recommend Rahul and Jayesh to do the work and it was evident that it was a good move for me to switch and trust them to pick it up and work with me.

Found their reference through LinkedIn. Interviewed the team, finalized the scope of the POC with timelines defined. We were looking for a team who were comfortable handling end-to-end execution of the POC (design->engineering). They seemed to talk the right language and their previous work gave some confidence.

1. A Face filter app which allowed users to switch between multiple lenses and face tattoos.
2. Geo-location app - The application allowed user to go to a particular location to experience the augmented reality.

The location output was pretty accurate. The AR models we wanted to display at the location worked pretty well too. Both of these apps were done using Unity.

We were evaluating using AR to develop our Product strategy. These POCs were done in a timely manner and helped us decide what path to take with AR for our product line.

We used to have a daily stand-up with the team. In addition to that the project manager would send updates every day. Pretty efficient team.

We liked the way they were able to jump on to the idea just after 3-4 brainstorming sessions and start producing results.

Although the time-zone difference between Pacific time Zone and IST was hard at times, over communication from their end helps ease the development.
