BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of Nbryte. We develop, market, and sell consumer products to public-facing brands. We’re a small business that primarily sells on Amazon. We have a home-and-garden brand and sell a product called Rain Chains, a downspout alternative. We also have an unrelated brand in a different sector where we sell tablet accessories.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with Stan Branding?
We were looking to create retail packaging designs for some new products, as well as updates on old products. We wanted one-color packaging that explained our products and included an image of them. The task was to make the packaging look as good as possible in just one color.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Stan Branding did packaging designs for four products, including two older legacy products and two newer ones we were rolling out. Our products don’t sit on a retail shelf, so there’s no need for beautiful, full-color packaging. The people that receive our packages already purchased the product. Therefore, we just needed something nice and clean that looks good once it arrives — the packaging doesn’t need to visually compete with other products on retail shelves.
We tasked them to design the packages. They took all of our assets and information. For instance, we had an insert with product instructions that we put inside the packaging, but we wanted to put it on the outside of the box instead. They took all of this information and translated it into a beautiful, simple design. They also created some icons and incorporated our logo into all of the designs.

How did you come to work with Stan Branding?
We found Stan Branding on Upwork and really liked their work. The people that worked with Stan Branding also left stellar reviews. We initially had a brief discussion via Skype. After that, we decided to give them a try.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $2,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from March–April 2021. Stan Brand initially finished the project by the end of March. However, we decided to make tweaks, so we reopened the project. They quickly did those.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Stan Branding did beautiful work. They did a lot with the box that we put them in and did so quickly. There was no fuss, and they delivered everything according to the parameters.
They were professional and had good design sense. When they delivered these designs for review, there was nothing to provide feedback on, other than that it looked great. We had a good experience and would definitely work with them again.
How did Stan Branding perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicated through the Upwork portal, where we chatted back and forth and attached files or links.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Stan Branding has the talent and eye for graphic design, which is hard to come by. In the graphic design industry, designers either have it or they don’t, and Stan Branding seems to have it. They do really nice work, have an elite design sense, and are one of the top agencies we’ve worked with.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s nothing specific I can point out.

Clearly communicate what you’re trying to achieve, and then let them do their work.
