Square Thunder!

BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I’m a Registered Naturotherapist and Changmaker via title of ‘Coach’, and founder of Brands/Practices: ‘Joe Trevors’ (as a brand) and ‘The Abundant Mind’.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Square Thunder!, and what were your goals?

Understanding how The Abundant Mind was growing beyond simply my Naturotherapy Practice, I was seeking clarity and direction on where to take the branding and awareness. In very preliminary conversations with Aaron, he pointed out the opportunity in branding and growing awareness of the driver behind the existing brand, and position everything for growth in future engagements, development of the practice beyond direct client interaction, etc.

Through this initial consultation, ‘Joe Trevors’ was born as a brand, and would be positioned as the overreaching umbrella for the future development of the variety of areas I touch (as a speaker, author, Coach, Naturotherapist, podcaster, etc.).

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

I had met Aaron through mutual volunteer efforts, and having been networked with some of the same entrepreneurs and business leaders, I was well-aware of his unique ability in gaining intimate detail of a clients’ goals and dreams as much as what they’ve already accomplished.

Of his delving more deeply into the intricacies of not only operational details of a company or venture, but similarly of the company’s culture, team qualities and talents, public-facing deliverables when applicable, and the like. This was the type of process, insight, and talent I was seeking in an effort to find our clarity in future branding.

Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.

From that initial consultation, to appointed follow up sessions, Square Thunder were able to consider not only where I was - and where I wanted to go, but similarly how I think and process teaching trainings in my practice and writings.

They looked at my manner of communication, invited me to provide feedback on other ‘brands’ or ‘talents’ in the world who I might follow or admire (or have trained under), others I may not be as taken by, and even how my palette appreciate some colors over others.

From that extensive understanding of ‘all things Joe Trevors’, they were able to build a brand model that very succinctly captured both the simplicity and complexity of where I am, and where we’re going.  (and supporting materials and future direction)

I worked directly with Aaron Cushing, the Founder and Lead at Square Thunder.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The brand direction has essentially provided as much clarity to my market as it has me. As the overarching signal / brand / sign for what I write, say, do, and dream, it’s a more appealing, more personalized narrative and recognition of the cognitive direction that is Joe Trevors, and fits perfectly in leading us into growth.

And given I’m a coach and Naturotherapist that bases so much of his teachings and guidance around authenticity, I can see now that the personalization in the messaging was absolutely something I was missing.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Aaron was great to work with in so much as how he managed my expectations around timelines and deliverables. I received updates regularly (‘weekly’) via message and video, and was provided opportunity to share feedback or additional thoughts as he managed the process.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What I truly found so unique and/or appealing was how deeply Aaron went into who I actually am as part of his development of my brand. I can fully appreciate this is important with a company or corporate brand…but when the brand shares your personal name, I feel it’s intimately essential it speaks as much to who you are, as where you want to go. Aaron got that. Aaron initiated that. I truly had a positive experience with Square Thunder!

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

From my perspective and interaction, no. I have absolutely no question in future brand and market awareness will continue to flow through them well into the future of our continued growth and development.
