In business/life, buliding relationships with companies and people are fundamental to everyones success and happiness, and in Square Owl we have found a dependable, knowledgeable company with excellent people we know we can rely upon for help and support. We'll be taking them out for a drink (at the very least) once we've rounded off the first part of our project, which is our website.
Their knowledge and skill extends over decades and they structured and actioned everything with professionalism, offering straight-foward, quality advice throughout.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Square Owl could have done differently?
Genuinly no. They delivered on everything. We could have gone in any direction or with any other company, but we trusted them very quickly from the start and knew we had made the right choice.
We caused a bottle neck at times, because it took us time to provide the correct information and update content ourselves, due to the technical nature of our business and products - despite SquareOwl, giving us a headstart on most of the content themselves but doing the research on their own, guiding us and structuring the process at every step.
We'll genuinely miss our weekly meetings with SquareOwl. They took a great interest in our company and what we do.

For what projects/services did your company hire Square Owl, and what were your goals?
Computype had been heavily reliant on Square Owl for years for assistance with strategic marketing planning, content creation, digital marketing, etc. One of the bigger projects we collaborated with Square Owl on was a complete redesign and rebranding effort for the .com site.
Our goals included more measurable & increased UX by integrating relevant & SEO-rich content throughout the site, as well as increased traffic through tactics such as PPC and organic search.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
When it came time to source a partner for this project, the decision was easy for us as we had always relied on Square Owl for delivery & consult of our digital marketing needs. They already knew our way of work and business, so deciding to rely on them was truthfully a no-brainer as they already had a proven reputation within our marketing team and our leadership group.

Key deliverables for this project included wireframe mapping of what the new site would look like, updated header content, graphics, and photo imagery across the site, mapping of existing content, and migration of current site. In addition, the Square Owl team also managed translations of all website copy into 6 additional languages.

We worked directly with Duncan and Carl . Both are extremely well-versed in their respective roles, fully understood our goals and challenges, and communicated with us regularly to provide status updates and ensure roadblocks didn't interfere with overall project scope, timeline, or budget.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Not only was the site easier to navigate and with fewer clicks, it was aesthetically more pleasing as well. Having an updated and well-thought out website with content strategically interwoven, as well as a robust digital marketing strategy to accompany, resulted in a 159% increase in web-generated leads, as well as doubling our web traffic YoY for the subsequent 3 year time frame.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Working with Square Owl always feels like you are working with an extension of your own internal team. We always felt as though we could call them without scheduling a formal meeting to ask quick questions or clarify, and they are eager to accept constructive criticism or amends to any layer of output.

Truly they are different than most agencies in that they genuinely do want to help you succeed. It never felt like it was a process we were forced to be put through in order to accomplish something, but rather the focus was about getting things done. Square owl started by analyzing data available on Google analytics. When required data wasn't available, the team sourced other tools to acquire data needed . Once the results were in, wire frames were designed in stages. In every part of this process, meetings were conducted to present and gain approval before moving to the next stage.
Once the various stages of the wire frame were approved by Prestige, it was passed on to the design team. The design team was responsible to propose the optimized the look and feel of the website based on approved wire frames. This design stage was also conducted using the proposal presentation/amendments suggestion/approval.

Based on their findings and the materials we provided, Square Owl recreated our brand identity. They altered our logo, color schemes, font styles, and templates to incorporate our combined branding ideas. Once Square Owl finalized our new brand guidelines, they rebuilt our website from scratch to implement the new design solutions.
