• Internal engagement: A noticeable increase in pride and confidence. The team actively shares the site, points to it in client conversations, and feels better represented by it.
• External clarity: We now have a clearer, more confident articulation of our positioning. Early feedback suggests people understand what we do and how we work more quickly 
• Capability uplift: We moved from a static, single-page site to a fully CMS-driven platform. We can now evolve and publish content independently, which was not possible before.

Spurwing’s project management was structured and calm throughout. The project had clear phases, timelines and decision points, which gave us clarity and encouraged us to maintain momentum.
They delivered key milestones on time, and where timelines shifted (often driven by delays on our side), it was transparent and well managed.
They were highly responsive to our needs. Feedback was handled quickly and thoughtfully, and they were willing to challenge us when needed rather than simply execute instructions.
They devoted generous amounts of time to discussion at every stage, seeking to understand direction, challenging and provoking thinking as well as driving our own understanding of what's expected and possible. It felt like a genuine partnership rather than a supplier relationship.

What impressed us most was their ability to operate as strategic partners, not just designers or developers. They didn’t simply respond to our brief, they helped us to challenge and sharpen it - to achieve a different, and better outcome as a result.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Spurwing — Webflow Agency could have done differently?

The only real area for improvement for both teams; was the implementation of a challenging component where the details of how to implement our vision were not fully resolved before development - it created a grey area and some extra iteration. Spurwing took responsibility and worked hard to resolve it. 
Post-project we discussed running a dedicated design-to-development alignment session earlier in the approach to agree what “good” looks like for those elements, front-loading expert development input, before build begins.

The outcomes for these projects were extremely well built, well designed, engaging marketing websites for businesess that resulted in lifts of engagement and conversion rates across the board. Also, the more intangible result of bringing new brands to life in a visually impactful way that rose the profile and credibility of the companies.

There's an incredibly wide mix of quality when it comes to website development agencies, particularly on Webflow. The 'ease of use' of the platform makes it such that more people can technically build a site - however whether they can do so well is another story. Spurwing are truly masters in their craft and on this platform. I couldn't tell you how many clients have come to us after a poor website build and were extremely impressed by what Spurwing handed over to them (including us).

We have nothing really to say here. After working on multiple projects, each time has resulted in a seamless and successful outcome.

Following a refresh of our brand in 2022, our website was the final element that needed renewal - we wanted it to better reflect our more new modern look and better compete with modern websites from our competition.

At the same time we specifically wanted to move away from WordPress, which massively limted what we could do.

Spurwing were tasked with taking inspiration from other education technology websites and our existing brand guidelines and pulling together a design that would look the part, stand the test of time and be scaleable as we grow and develop.

The team worked closely with us from concept to design to completion, ensuring the design and functionality aligned with our brand’s new look and feel.
