Ohio in Arabic (OIA) is an independent local newspaper published in Arabic in Columbus, the capital of the state of Ohio. OIA started in 2020 as a monthly printed copy, and then, due to challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic; OIA became an electronic newspaper. OIA focuses on news, topics, and materials that are relevant to Arabic immigrants and the Arab community.

This encompasses all aspects of life in the state of Ohio and the United States in general. OIA is an aspirational, independent project, established by an Arab immigrant who believes in the freedom of speech and in principles of pluralism, justice, and in society’s right to knowledge and access to information.

OIA is registered as a limited liability company in the state of Ohio. It is not affiliated with any governmental or private entities, and thus, is not subject to political, intellectual, or financial constraints.

The work went through several stages, the most important of which was determining the appropriate design for our work, where we discussed all the details of the site necessary to achieve the widest spread and reach the target audience, after that we made a set of modifications that suit the users’ experiences, while giving our project a special touch that distinguishes the general shape Its about other sites

At least four people, the designer who cared about the general form and the visual image, the manager who was following up on every detail and interested in programming and the content of the site and how to get it out, in addition to the administrators who were interested in financial details, delivery times and meeting dates, in addition to the two inputs of the initial data that contributed to launching the site

Certainly, the most important result is the feedback from readers, which always indicates that our news site is one of the sites that are easy to use and comfortable to look at. We have been asked by many friends about the project implementing company .. This may be evidence that it has gained the attention of those wishing to establish similar projects.

I’m an executive assistant at the Arab Union of Electricity, a nonprofit utility organization based in Jordan.

What challenge were you trying to address with Sprintive?

We needed their team's web design skills.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our existing website was outdated, and we realized it was high time to upgrade it. We then engaged Sprintive to redevelop the architecture of our website and migrate our old content to Drupal 8. They created three versions for us to choose from and worked on polishing the final design upon securing our approval.

Upon the website's completion, Sprintive supported us with their maintenance services. They also delivered SEO and content marketing services based on our target keywords and rankings.

We worked with 4–5 people from Sprintive, including their CEO and a project manager.

Sprintive built an impressively responsive website that met our KPIs in terms of design, loading speed, and accessibility. We also saw boosts in organic traffic and overall engagement, which were fruits of their SEO expertise.
