I’m the data manager of France Télévisions, a media company. We offer a video-on-demand platform that hosts France Télévisions’ content.

What challenge were you trying to address with SPHERYS?

We needed help implementing a data governance system.

What was the scope of their involvement?

SPHERYS has helped us implement a data governance system, from its definition to its operationalization. The team has defined the framework for governance and data quality. SPHERYS has also worked on the concrete implementation of this framework. The team has identified the right profiles to take on the key roles of data governance, including data stewards, data owners, and application referents. Moreover, SPHERYS has helped different stakeholders improve their skills regarding data governance.

SPHERYS was referred to me, and I chose them because their values aligned with ours.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in November 2024, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

SPHERYS has delivered the frameworks, and we’ve measured the success of their work by the concrete implementation of the framework and the number of data owners identified. We’ve identified around ten data owners.

How did SPHERYS perform from a project management standpoint?

SPHERYS has delivered on time. Moreover, they’ve adapted to our company and its sometimes complex life cycle. We’ve communicated through in-person and virtual meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

SPHERYS’ concrete implementation of the framework has been impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything for SPHERYS to improve.
