What challenge were you trying to address with SparxIT?

Our customers were looking for an online medium through which they could order books. We didn’t have an in-house development team, so we sought SparxIT for support.

What was the scope of their involvement?

SparxIT developed a website where our customers could register, order specific books, and then read the digital copies of those books from our online library. We had already established an e-commerce website prior to this engagement, but this new platform was targeted toward our members who wanted to order e-books instead of physical copies. An interactive, user-friendly interface and a fast loading time were also our primary goals for this website, so SparxIT made sure that these were present in the final deliverable. 

Once the website was finished, SparxIT started working on an iOS and Android application. We provided a prototype which they are now in the process of implementing.

Our primary contact is the project manager, and I’ve also interacted with a project coordinator, a UI/UX designer, and two developers.

SparxIT was recommended by one of our friends. We saw that they had experience in creating B2B and B2C websites, and we were able to verify the positive experiences of their past customers, so we decided to engage them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working in July 2021, and the website was completed in October 2021. They’ve since started working on the mobile app development project.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

SparxIT has delivered according to our expectations. The online library is working properly and has received positive reviews from our customers. We’re still in the testing phase for the mobile app, but so far, the interface is coming together well.

How did SparxIT perform from a project management standpoint?

We were expecting the web development to take around three months, but their team completed it in two and a half months. We anticipate that the mobile app will take longer to develop, but that’s only because we’ve decided to add e-commerce functionalities on top of the main online library feature. 

Most of our communications are done through Skype and Slack, and they email us all of the documentation.

Our experience with SparxIT has been so positive. In fact, this is the reason we decided to pursue the development of a mobile app with them. We wanted to use WordPress for your project which seemed to be an easy choice but they recommended using Shopify instead for faster and richer development for this website. When we asked our partners, we received a positive response on creating a website on Shopify. It has been a long time since we had to call them for any updates on the website.

Most of all, we could manage the website easily in terms of viewing or creating customers’ data. An interactive UI/UX was one of the most commendable parts of the website. We mentioned it specifically in our requirements and they have worked on it as well as possible.

We had six members from team sparx it working on our project including a web designer, one backend developer, one quality analyst, one UI/UX designer, one quality analyst, and project coordinator Mr. Aston.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Ever since the deployment, we have seen crucial insights on Google analytics for this website. We are getting good traffic on all of its pages. We are happy with the design and most particularly the customization options.

They used agile methodology to manage our project. We received the project in small chunks of code for dedicated functionalities. We used communications tools like Skype and WhatsApp for regular communication. Meetings would usually be help on Bitrix and Zoom. The project was completed two weeks before the estimated deadline.

A comprehensive understanding of the technology trends, a liberal approach in project management, and analytical discussions were some of the most impressive things we realized while working with them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We were satisfied with all of their deliverables, but for better associations, we would want them to use platforms like Telegram as well. That would be all.

They advertise in UK and USA, trying to give fake impression they are Western or of similar capabilities. the phone numbers in USA we absolutely fake.

They had zero absolutely no expertise in telemedicine. I told them this and was planned to do an alternative service. Every time he comes with an excuse that the representative had been sick, then takes a few month says i am discussion with my team. 

EVERYTHING is fake his name is a western name but he told me his original name is something different. I have lost huge time on this postponement some after the other which are FAKE, not existing. I have doubts if the reviews from such a company here are genuine. indeed they are not present in UK land and they pretend are a uk .co.uk

services fraudulently were sold to me. They are advertising as be in USA but actually are in India.

Nothing existed for this person only that big mouth BLUFF they stole nearly 500 USD from me and postponed fake promises as “ I was sick” etc for nearly 1 year.

Extremely brave bluff, if you say can send a shuffle digitally for me to the MARS they per my experience will say WE HAVE EXPERIENCE OF DOING THIS IN THE PAST.

After we visited a few of their portfolios and read their case studies, we found all of them magnificent in terms of design, functionalities and other parameters that mattered to our project.

When we sent them a project consultation request, they were quick enough in responding to our query. We were in talks with one of their team members in the next four hours since we sent them our first mail. We outreached Sparx IT Solutions with a wireframe and an old website which was developed years ago. We asked them about their suggestions on redesigning it or developing a brand new website. On the next day, after reviewing our requirements, we received a quote from their team with a complete process structure and their inputs on the project. We found everything very comprehensive. The website has been developed using a CMS. Some parts of the website are still being tested and we do not wish to disclose the technology stack for now.

We did a social survey with our customers about our new website’s appearance. We received a very positive response. We, as a client of Sparx IT Solutions, are quite satisfied with what we have been delivered so far. We are all set to launch the complete new website very soon.

We were in talks over Skype. However, we were also given choices for WhatsApp and Slack which means they use both of them as communication tools as well. They divided the entire project in small chunks of tasks which eased our work of reviewing the deliverables. They used to provide us ETAs for every new upgrade which seemed quite impressive. Because of such an approach followed by them, we were not worried about the timelines. Every segment was being delivered timely. And, now we have got enough time to prepare effective marketing strategies before launching the website.

Every member of their team, including people in company leadership, had been very easy to talk to. It felt like someone from our inhouse team was working on our website. We were updated on every major or minor development on our website through communication tools. We received detailed reports on a regular basis. We have worked with some website developers in the past. Unfortunately, we could not receive such support anytime earlier.

I do not see anything significant that they should IMPROVE but we would surely expect some good offers from their side in future as they will also be administering our website for a few months after its final delivery and launch.

Though they were available on many platforms i.e. Slack, Skype, WhatsApp, Gmail, etc., we preferred Slack for any communication. We also had Skype groups for basic queries or discussions but primarily it was Slack. There were dedicated timelines for each segment for developing the project which were fulfilled every time. Perhaps, this is the reason the project was delivered before our estimated timeline.

Though we had a good experience working with them, I can point out a few things that seemed most impressive to me. First of all, they were available every time we asked them. Since the project is still undergoing, we cannot really mention any measurable outcomes here but what we have observed so far is quite satisfactory. They have included everything an ideal real estate must have to get growth.

Moreover, we and the company are always in touch to keep bringing out-of-the-box things to the application.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I would call their project management style quite flexible. However, there are schedules defined before every call to keep the pointers of meetings noted and escaping to miss out any major discussion.

Our communication is generally held through Skype, email, direct messaging. I was told that they are also available on 10-12 more major communication platforms. There are short-term goals for every development, and so far it has always been achieved. I hope it goes the same in upcoming segments as well.

I have worked with many companies. Each one of them were somehow different from the other. What I have observed differently working with Sparx IT Solutions is, they keep things very professional, ethical yet it's all flexible.

I am amazed as a client and did not expect that it will be this comfortable to get such a large-scale app developed.
