What challenge were you trying to address with Software Pro Digital?

I wanted someone to help me get my business together. I already had a website with a theme, but it needed to be enhanced.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Software Pro Digital helped design and develop my Shopify website. I initially had a theme from Etsy; I told them what I wanted, and they took it from there.

They built a pop-up coupon that showed whenever a customer clicked on the website. If people signed up, they could receive emails through MailChimp. Software Pro Digital  set up my collections, organized them, and ensured all the products were imported from Shopify.

The team helped put content on some of my pages and wrote about my business, who I am, and how I got started. They also built a tool so users could customize their products by choosing a color, style, or design.

Additionally, Software Pro Digital did SEO so the website would show up when people search for me on Google.

I worked with three teammates. Haseeb was the lead software developer and my main point of contact.

I posted a proposal on Upwork, and Software Pro Digital got in touch with me. They introduced themselves and showed me their resume. We started talking, and then we got started on my website.

How much have you invested with them?

I spent almost $1,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together the last week of January 2023 and ended the contract in March 2023.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

My experience with Software Pro Digital was great. They satisfied my needs and were an excellent company to work with. They were friendly and provided great customer service. We had a few problems, but they helped me put everything together.

Moreover, Software Pro Digital was patient, and the team cared about what I wanted. Even though it was expensive, they did their best to ensure I was satisfied. I wanted to review their work and truly show my appreciation.

How did Software Pro Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

They delivered on time. We initially communicated through Upwork, and then we moved to Basecamp to discuss the changes and what needs to be done for the website. I even told them I had a certain budget, and they managed to work within it.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their customer service was phenomenal. Software Pro Digital really cared about what I wanted. Overall, they were patient and tried to help me as much as they could.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Although they delivered on time, they could’ve been done a bit sooner. They didn’t work the weekends, so it felt a bit like wasted time.

I’d recommend you engage Software Pro Digital because they do good work.

Cratejoy is a challenge to work within it's limitations, but we are locked into that platform for now. Software Pro did a good job working within those constraints, but improved knowledge of the Cratejoy platform might help with possible workarounds for exceeding the limits of the platform.
