What challenge were you trying to address with Software Harmonics, LLC?

We were looking for website optimization services because of the changes Google implemented to their algorithm. Our ultimate goal was to improve our PageSpeed Insights (PSI) score.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The project was divided into two phases: assessment and implementation. The first phase was to find out what kind of effort we required, and the second one to deliver the solution. The team did all the research and reviewed our site to determine what needed to be done.

Software Harmonics, LLC was referred to us. We decided to hire them because the team had the technical expertise to deliver the solution we required.

Our engagement lasted from March–May 2021.

Our website's Google ranking has improved greatly, and we've gotten an A on our PSI score.

The team did very well and was responsive to inquiries and questions. We communicated by email and had Zoom meetings when needed. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was very impressed by their in-depth analysis, good communication skills, and great testing processes.

I’d advise defining your requirements clearly.

They developed a web application that’s integrated with Quickbooks. Features include database storage and a login portal for our customers where they can get reports.

We spent about $5,000.

We started working together in January 2020, and we launched the product that May.

I’m happy with the quality of the interface. I gave them feedback to get what I wanted, and they did a good job of matching what I wanted the application to look like.

We mostly communicated through email. Upwork also had some project tracking features.

They’re personable and easy to work with. They do a good job of visualizing what you want.

No, we had a good working relationship.

Go in with a good concept of what you want to be developed. Be prepared to think about the workflow and maybe have some examples. The more information you have, the better they’ll be able to serve you.
