How did you select this vendor?

George and Alex we great communicators and understood clearly the requirements of the project. They were understanding of the project limitations and were willing to work under sub-optimal capacity. We seriously considered 3 different candidates for this job and chose SOFTENQ due to their commitment to project success.

Not only did SOFTENQ develop our browser extension according to our initial delivery of requirements and UI design but they were proactive in providing initiative for functionality that we left out in the initial delivery.

Alex and George oversaw the development.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

We are still waiting for the extension to be published on Chrome but I am sure that the additional functionality to our platform would increase usability and customer retention in the future.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Communication was not an issue, George and Alex were very responsive on Upwork and pushed their code to GitHub frequently as we asked. It was a joy to work with a vendor who can reliably communicate.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

SOFTENQ worked tirelessly on revisions and fixing functionality issues to ensure that the final product was something they are proud of.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Very little areas for improvement but I think more debugging and UX testing and feedback would make them the perfect developers.

I am running a website for an artist www.mire.ro and managing her exhibitions and marketing activities. This is a Marketing Manager role that I am running in my free time. My day to day role at work is Product Director at Mondia and I manage a global games subscription business area.

To build a custom CMS based on Ruby on Rails for the www.mire.ro website.

What were your goals for this project?

Create an easy to use CMS to change content in the website.

Selected on UpWork based on quality of the previous work and number of contracts.

They have built a CMS component to manage the Exhibitions section, by allowing to add new exhibitions, order them and add content (text and photos).

What was the team composition?

Web developer with experience in Ruby on Rails and Javascript.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The website can now be managed without the help of a developer, reducing the management costs and helping to have a faster time to market. It helps us to react faster to new events and show content that is up to date.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The communication was run through Danil, the CEO of the company, which took over the requirements and managed with his team, acting as an efficient point of contact.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The high quality of the output, speed of delivery and most of all, the customer support and project management.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No. I was very happy with their support on this project.

I would have appreciated them being more available throughout the day to deal with possible bugs and changes. Overall, they provided very good service.
