Scope of Work

The project encompasses the end-to-end development of a React Native mobile application, covering project management, authentication, audio processing, real-time streaming, UI implementation, animations, testing, and deployment.

Initially, a comprehensive project plan and detailed functional requirements will be established, including the definition of necessary third-party integrations.

Authentication will be integrated via the Auth0 SDK, enabling username/password login with third-party password manager support (e.g., Bitwarden, 1Password, Apple Keychain), alongside Google and Microsoft SSO options. All authentication flows will be thoroughly tested to ensure reliability.

The Swift-based Audio Processing Unit will be integrated into the app and exposed to React Native via native modules, handling methods like startCapturing, stopCapturing, and requestMicrophoneAccess. Microphone permissions will be managed, and real-time audio performance will be tested to meet stringent requirements.

Real-time audio streaming ensuring minimal latency with thorough testing under varying network conditions.

The user interface for all core app screens (Login, Meetings, Conversation, Settings) will be implemented based on Figma designs, including functionality for managing conversations and selecting languages. UI feedback for error handling and infinite scroll pagination for meeting history will also be added.

An animated, Headspace-like in-call screen will be developed using React Native Skia, following defined visual specifications.

Extensive testing across all app functionalities will be conducted, requiring an Apple Developer account with admin permissions. A CI/CD pipeline will be set up, enabling automated deployment to the App Store via GitHub Actions. Finally, Sentry will be integrated to monitor and report critical production errors.

Snoter was very responsive and followed a very structured approach. We checked in once a week to get aligned on the progress and whether we need to adjust scope. We set up a shared Slack channel that was user for communication between the teams. Throughout the development phase of the V1 mobile app project, Snoter came well after all our needs.

Our company is documentation first, we live a culture of oversharing. It would be great practice to receive a summary of the week that contained items like "What was done", "What is still left to be done", "Are there blockers" and "Whats the ETA to completion".
